Harriet, I often have a pair of reading glasses hooked on the collar of my shirt— and yes, they often fall off. I have been considering getting one of those chains.
Today went well. We went to the festival and listened to the music, but came straight home afterwards. Dgs seemed kinda tired and he and I both lay down and rested (I napped). After we ate supper, he beat me twice at dirty board and once at Scrabble. (I maintain that there is an element of luck in Scrabble. If one can use the Z and the Q, one has a distinct advantage.)
Tomorrow— church with dmom, lunch afterwards. Gift for dmom that is not very good. She ASKED for this book, but I know she will never get around to reading it, and if she does, the print is so small she’ll have eyestrain if she tries. In fact, someone had returned it to Amazon because of the small print!
Ddil may have to work, but that’s how things go in the nursing world. She’s okay with it because she will get overtime pay.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms in our village!
