trissie, my new regime is to do my reading when I wake up in the early morning, and then go back to sleep. It's working out well for me. At that hour, I'm not interested in doing anything active. And if I leave the reading for later, I always feel as though I should be doing something more productive.
LOL, my gadget fly swatter was bad enough, but I can't imagine playing badminton with a wasp with it!

That is something that I have always been grateful for, trissie, especially now that I am older and wake up every couple of hours to go to the bathroom. And that Germane has developed techniques to wake me so that I will see that she has used her pee pad and deserves a treat.
I love the smell of geraniums. They always smell clean to me.

Dogged, afaik there was no zoom call. DH and his team did have their usual group teams meeting, but that's early morning. And he did have a webinar about midday, but that was a recording, so he could go back and catch anything he missed.

Trissie, I'm so glad I'm not the only one that can't take an inquisition before I'm fully awake! When I have appointments or it's a church day, then I know I have to get things done by a certain time in order to leave the house on time, but days when I don't have any place I have to be by a certain time, I'm more flexible.

KitKat, that's reassuring your DH doesn't find things either. I hope DPup is better soon!

I'm done for the day. The housework is done, I combined a walk with picking up my meds from the pharmacy, Ive had some garden time and I managed to see our Romanian neighbours to get instructions - I am looking after their cat for the next two weeks while they go back to Romania. Fortunately there was a young man (son? nephew?) who spoke perfect English, and who was able to translate and tell me all about the cat's feeding requirements (E and G still dont speak English very well) and I do have a contact phone number "just in case".

That makes it harder to understand why your DH needed you to commit to a detailed schedule before you had even started your day, Kittykatt. I thought that maybe he needed to plan a zoom call during a quiet time.
That is very kind of you to look after your Romanian neighbours' cats. Maybe it will lead to a more comfortable relationship with them?

I have cleared off my table so that I can flip the top and have it ready to move. But I just realized that it still has a sticky patch after being wiped down. I have to have another go at that before I flip it closed.

Finally back! DD39 cleaned out her closet and then sent me all her decluttered things… many still have tags. They are sorted with two large bags for a starting school give away, one box for DD41 in Utah and a small thrift store pile.

The doctor appointment was just DD33’s 3 month follow up. We are watching lots of her numbers because the medicine that keeps her well messes with a host of other things.
