OKay - you are quite the IT Geek... you inspire me. 8-)

Any ideas on naming the appliances? I know this is weird but it helps me to personalize them which then helps me keep them busy and clean.

Okay so we have;
Agnes - Dishwasher
Bert & Ernie - Washer & Dryer
Aunt Bea - Oven
Need to find a name for;
Fridge/Freezer
Deep Freezer
Microwave - what about Tiny Tim?
Coffeemaker

Yes I am goofy but on a day like today (see my post in MO) I need some goofy. Can't believe it is after 1pm already, trying to get DS19 up... :lol: a never ending struggle.

Got a lot done that round but I forgot how much Aunt Bea stinks while she cleans herself. Put a LOL (whites) in Bert and let him eat with his mouth open :lol: so that the LOL would soak in the treatment for a while.

scattered - Maybe the coffeemaker could have a name that reflects getting you up & moving in the morning. The names you have chosen so far made me giggle. Yep, goofy is good. :D

Harriet - The "darling animals" always seem to need food, don't they? I was buying food for my kitties the other day & the cashier asked me how many cats I had. Not sure she believed that I have only two, judging by the number of cans of food I was buying. :roll:

Helia - Lentil stew sounds yummy! Care to share the recipe sometime?

OKay - Showing my computer ignorance, but what is onenote?

BookSaver - I'm still running XP also & thinking maybe I need to upgrade. My computer is so slow lately, maybe running out of ram. I really don't want to think about buying a new computer but mine is probably ten years old, with only one upgrade, so it's probably time.

So far today I have managed to take trash to the curb. That's it, nothing else. Yes, I know it's past noon. sigh As usual, the laundry basket is full. Really need to work on that today.

Hi to everyone. Have a great day!

Editing to add - I like Cowinkie's suggestions for freezer & coffeemaker.

Good afternoon everyone! DD10 is finally healthy again and in school. She missed a total of 3 days. Yesterday was a no-school day for the elections and I had DD with me in the afternoon. I had planned on doing something fun with her but instead we spent 3 hours at a 'convenience center' in line to vote. (Thank goodness I had brought a book to read to her). Our city, population close to 90,000, had 5 so-called convenience centers, the same number as a city one-tenth our size. It looked like a queue at Disney World! What the blazes were they thinking! After that we had dinner and went to Chuck E Cheese for Girls Night Out.

AFter DD left, I did a 45 minute pick up in case the maids show up today. I think they are coming next week though. I forgot to put out a check. I did remember to put the trash and recycles out. I worked on a stuffed animal's blanket and ran out of black yarn. I need to get more of that and some inexpensive bright colored yarn for a yarn bombing, see YarnTheGarden.com.

it is lunchtime, but I am not hungry. I had better eat anyway, then I have some reading to do at unpaid payroll.

I just had to "bury" my Microwave... actually felt good since it was left over from my Mother (see my post in MO), she hated my old trusty microwave and nagged me until I got a WHITE one (yes it had to be white). Thankfully, I had refused to throw-away my old one and it has been in storage in my shed for the last 6 yrs. It is old, made in 1988 but still looks good and works... it was even clean (at least the inside) :lol: I was very much a neat freak back then. The white one had huge rust marks where the paint had come off, which can harm my family.

Finally won the battle with DS19 at 1:30 now need to trim his hair and get him to run to the Dollar store for Bread, green scrubbie pads, and sponges. I'm about 1/3rd the way through cleaning the counters.

Cowinkie (& Kally) I love the names!

Okay so we have;
Agnes - Dishwasher
Bert & Ernie - Washer & Dryer
Aunt Bea - Oven
Deep Freezer - Chilly Willy (Willy for short)
Coffeemaker - Java Joe (JJ for short, would call it Joe but that is 1 of my DUncles name and he is almost as bad as my Mother)
Need to find a name for;
Fridge/Freezer
Microwave - what about Tiny Tim?

Anyone to chime in on the last two?

Hello dear ladies,

Sunny but cool here.

Yesterday all the ones at home that could vote went up around noon and had no line. We were split on the vote, 3 for one and 2 for the other so it made for an interesting evening. I was mostly interested in the local election.

My Iphone seemingly died on Monday :o so relunctantly got a new one. The phone place couldn't seem to fix it. Running close to contract renewal time so it seemed like it was a good time to replace it. So brought the old one home with the new one and Dson21 asked if he could see it. He took it apart and got it going. So gave it to him. He's happy with it. Silver lining to a dark cloud.

I just have bad cases of the Idontwanna lately. Maybe it's my body's way of resting before the holidays get into full swing? I'll take any excuse I can think up. :lol:

Going to read a bit and then get ready for work.

Great day to all!

PODA:
- run flannel sheets through Ernie to freshen them up and then will put them on the bed.
- will work on the grson's afghan; age 18 mos. he is.
- try to sweep my office
- will read

If I don't sweep today, I'll do it tomorrow, but everything else will get done. I'm having a low key day today.

Waving to those I've not included and who are on other pages. Have a wonderful Wednesday in PWYC-land. :D

YEAH! Kally posted. :) I miss seeing your post!

RE: OneNote: Onenote is a Microsoft software package. It is sometimes included in the Microsoft office suite. It can do things that no other software can. Its organization capabilities are unlimited (IMHO). I think of it as I would a paper binder with section markers and pages…...except it is all in digital format.

Glad I have more energy today! I was out side doing yd. work put a bunch of leaves for the hens to scratch in this morning while I was draining hoses and rolling them up for winter it's supposed to get colder by the of the week.

I raked the back yard and swept the carport so it looks better now.
I'll wait on the front until more leaves are down.

I've had lunch.
Dgson will be here after school.
The other granny is going to have them this weekend she wanted them and I could use the recoup time I think.
