Got the last done and am heading out now. I re-read mealbaby page for dfriend's meals more carefully and discovered that her dh is gluten-free. So, I'm going to stop by WF first to see if they have gluten-free pasta. If not, I'll go with plan B for the meal -- except I have 2 options for plan B. . . . Also need to stop by the library to pick up a book on tape and I will finally go to the Korean food store for a bag of rice. That makes 4 stops, likely in this order: WF, library, Korean store, groc. store.

Next goal by 1:00 pm
-above mentioned errands done
-everything put away

Good morning to my imaginary friends! :)

I had forgotten about the Alice and Jerry books! I was in the Linda, Bill, and Ricky reading group. But, I remember we also had a Sally, Dick, and Jane group. I loved school--fun times!

So far: Kitchen is clean, gifts wrapped, more cards sent, laundry caught up. Things are moving right along here.

Woo Hoo - 3 of the 6 bins cleared. Lots of piles on the floor to file but found some software that had been lost.

Have reused 2 of the bins - one for pictures and memories and one for software and computer stuff.

Think we are headed for town now. DH up and we've had breakfast.

DBro called and looks like he is getting his knee replaced some time next year. Dsis is doing well after her stroke. No motor damage, speech and reading/writing all OK. Memory is coming back. So all is good.

Oh, MT, glad she is ok.

I'm sitting here waiting for some faxes to come in. It looks like rain coming. We need it, it's been so dry.

Our school did the Dick and Jane books. Look, look, oh look. See Spot run. They actually have fabric with that motif all over. So cute.

Customer called and I had to do a whole house search for papers and then get them faxed to me cause I couldn't find the originals. Oh my, there's paper everywhere. I got some of it sorted, some filed. My desk is piled up a foot high.

Sigh...here's the fax..

(Harriet) pretty much all people quit eating at some point, but I get where you're coming from; DDad probably isn't to that point and you're wanting to keep his quality of life stable as much as possible. Will he drink smoothies?

Waving to all as I pass through. Have eaten lunch. 11 of 27 cards completed. I think I'm going to go to the awards assembly at the school this afternoon. DD made either honor or merit roll (GPA was not listed on the report card, nor do I remember her exact grades, but she got all A's and B's.) dd most definitely did not -- she's passing by the skin of her teeth -- but there are going to be peer-nominated awards for the latest character trait they're working on, which is compassion. If dd doesn't get one of those, it's only because not enough of her peers know her yet. She's one of the most tender-hearted people I know. At the school concert Friday night, all the lost and found items were brought out to be claimed; any unclaimed items were going to be donated to charity. dd spotted a pencil box belonging to one of her classmates, who she knew was not there because his family was on vacation; she took it home and put it in her backpack to give back to him when he returns.

If I go to the assembly, I'll have to leave here in about :45. Will aim to clean up lunch and finish laundry before I go. If there's still time left, I'll sweep or get a start on today's decluttering quota -- or maybe I'll work on the girls task boards; things go more smoothly when I have them ready to go when the girls get home, rather than putting them together once the girls are here.

Hello Dear Ladies,

It's COLD here. Was 22 degrees when I got up this morning. Now it is 34 and I think that's the high for today.

My left shoulder is hurting really bad so I'm not going out in the cold to walk and it looks like my weight lifting might be causing the shoulder pain so I won't be doing that today either. :( :(

I went from lifting 10 pounds to 15 and looks like that caused my shoulder to flare up. DH told me to limit myself to 10 pounds once I get healed from this. I think I'll start over again at 3. I did shoulder exercises in the shower and I think it helped some. And some asper creme on it too.

Work at WM is as hectic as ever. Enjoyable experience was helping three firemen shop for kids on the angel tree. :D Bad experiences was all the griping from customer, we don't have what they are looking for, lines to long, Etc.

Have laundry going and am going to take it a little easy today. Didn't realize how much I use my left side until it hurt so much.

Thoughts about other posts:

(((Harriet)))Little Debbie was Dmom's best friend near the end. All the healthy stuff didn't taste good to her. I felt like at least she's eating something. And yes I know the lack of hunger or appetite, the not eating is hard to just let happen.

(((Scattered))) Have you thought of Home Health nursing maybe while you go back to school? The nurses that came here with my Dmom worked part time and said they enjoyed the home health nursing very much. Got to work one on one with patients, got to truly care for them, felt it was rewarding. Many of them had left hospital settings for this. So I always throw it out to nurses that are in a transition stage.

It's about time to check the laundry. going to do a bit of resting in between loads.

Great Day to all!

Good morning everyone! There is still one minute left of morning. Today started with getting my car to the body shop and getting a rental car. Fun, fun. I am waiting on a call from the doctor about an increase in thyroid dosage. I have reordered other meds and sincerely hope they will get here before I go to Alabama (they probably will). My LR is a disaster and one of the foster cats is practically living in the sewing room closet. The closet door is closed, she knows how to open it. I need to get my photographs organized before Maria comes to town Wed. Today is errand day and I need to get some yarn and groceries. It is COLD.

Sunday I had DD10 and did manage to get her to church. Unfortunately, we did not get there in time to swing first and she was very restless. I did reward her with Chinese food for going. We had a funny argument in the afternoon. Her dad said she had to wait until she was 13 to get a cell phone and she was trying to convince me she needed one earlier. One hypothetical situation involved the power out at her school and NONE of the teachers having a cell phone! But the clincher was when she asked me, "When did you get your first cell phone?" My reply, "In my thirties!" Argument FAIL! Later I took her to a Christmas play at a different chuch that was a fundraiser for her school. She liked that and decided she would read the Christmas story to her cousins.

My absolute essentials today are: errands, photos, figure out next weekends cat clinic schedule. Today or tomorrow, I need to whip the LR in shape.
