:D Dropping in to say, "Hello, Everybody!" and to write my "Ta Da" :) and "To Do". :) I hope Everyone's having a nice weekend, will have a good night and to be honest with you, my "Get it Done" day was yesterday and to day was my not-get-much done day! But I did do a few things. ;)

A.M. Ta Da:
1- Prayers
2- Journal writing
3- s2s, dress, etc...
4- Breakfast was granola mixed into Greek yogurt; as suggested in "Prevention" magazine to do 2 for 1 healthy eats.
5- Did emails, checked (none) obits, death notices, and news
6- Made the bed

Noon-time Ta Da:
1- Fed Bert a load of dark laundry
2- Work on a short story for 60 min. in two 30 min. spurts (because of my eyes)
3- Walked outdoors, got the mail, in the sunshine, but did something to my left eye on my walk! OH, NO! I feel gritty. Remember that song, "I Feel Pretty! I Feel Pretty!" Well, now I can sing, "I feel gritty! I feel gritty!" I must have something in my eye, DH suggested pollen, it feels like grit, it "bugs" me, so I'm using my eye gel, as prescribed for dry pitted corneas. If it's not better by Mon., I'll be going to see my specialist! This is a worry! :!:
4- I walked 30 min. today! :D
5- I fed Ernie a load of dark clothes.
6- I loaded the DW, but I've forgotten what Scattered has named the DW! :?:

Afternoon Ta Da:
1- Started putting 1 thing in a donation box. 1 thing is a start now!
2- I printed some dishcloth patterns. (I'm crocheting some for 2 friends). :)
3- I wrote put out hot spots.
4- I gave our routing # to DH for the accountant
5- I walked to our accountant (this was my 1st year of keeping records; wanted to know if I did ok, etc..) Was happy that she said she's made me an organizer to just fill in for next year! What a SWEET lady! :!: :D
6- I wrote a pen pal a letter.

Evening To Do:
1- I need to hang up 2 clean nightgowns
2- Want to check the garage refrigerator to see if there are any cheese sticks out there.
3- I'll set my dawn simulator
4- Will continue to use eye gel
5- Will floss
6- Will write letters
7- Will journal
8- Will work on my story
9- Will read
10- Will crochet

11- Will do emails.

I've made a "deal" with myself. Since yesterday, I tidied up all flat surfaces and today's plan  was to clean all flat surfaces and I did not; I'll do them tomorrow morning and afternoon- so I can watch The Academy Awards Show! I need to motivate myself! I need to treat myself like a little kid and BRIBE myself to get my work done! (Not always though.) ;)

Enjoy your evening, Everyone. :D It was nice to pop in. :)

Hiya! Got a few things done today! Dropped off recycling and then had lunch with a nice group of ladies at local restaurant. Spent my K ohl's cash on the way home. Then did 2 loads of laundry. This has been one of my best days in a long time! Told Dh that a little socializing sure did me some good!

Daily readings done. Started another book. Tried my new pumpkin spice coffee. It isn't half caf as my usual coffee is...so I only drank half as much as usual. Turns out a little goes a long way! Now that Dh is well, it is back to church for us tomorrow.

Wanted to say to CathyS that I can understand your husband's feelings of what might have been in regards to his unborn child. So sorry. I'm sure many people struggle with that sadness.

Back from the dinner out and 'beer in Ottawa' (the internet forum get-together.) The pub that was picked had a bus running to the hockey game for customers so we couldn't get a seat until it left (so were standing for 20 minutes.) Our meals arrived moments before the first of the drinks group arrived. Then the group of 6 turned grew into a group of 9 crammed around the table in the crammed pub. So it was loud and the group to large to talk with everyone.

I was at the end with a visiting wife who wasn't quite to my liking. But the local members all seemed fun and I hope to go out with them next time.

Dh was wonderful. As usual.

We are sipping on hot lemon with honey since we are both hoarse and still have to practice the hymns for tomorrow. We have not yet rehearsed the anthem. We both know the tune from an album but have never sung it ourselves. And one of the hymns is new to us. I can hear dh playing it now off the internet in order to learn it.

Oh, and the autoharp broke a string after 30 years and there aren't any for sale in this city so he has to decide if we'll go ahead and use it without the one string (there are 36 strings on it, so another string will pick up the slack, so to speak, but it won't sound as full.)

While dh works through some of the music and doesn't need me, I'll go over the sermon.
