Happy birthday, Harriet!!!

Well, I keep trying to get her to visit with you ladies, but my goodness, my days get away from me!

Walked w/ds & dgs this morning/afternoon... then s2s, errands...
Had to go out to dmom's... then to dbil's office to drop off will & death certificate... then to get oil changed in SUV... then to bank...
I know I'm spending a lot of time sleeping, but I'm not sleeping till 3:00 pm, so where is my time going???

Dgs is coming to spend a few hours w/us while ds & ddil go to a local fund-raiser flag football game. Later tonight, dh & I will go to a movie. We are both very anxious to see Now You See Me -- I think that's the correct title -- a kind of mystery/thriller? that starts tonight, stars Morgan Freeman and the guy that played the Facebook guy in that movie. (I think that's who he is, anyway.) It's about magician/bank robbers. Looks really interesting, anyway, even though my build-up of it leaves a lot to be desired, LOL!!!

Have to go over to dmil's and also to P izza H ut to get a pizza to share w/dmil. Amazes me that a 90-year-old lady loves pizza as much as she does.

Good afternoon everyone and Happy Birthday Harriet! I have been finishing up organizing an animal org event. I'm afraid I did not do a very good job of it. I also accidentally signed myself up to head a yarn bombing in July! I sent an email to the yarn shop that does them. In the reply, the manager told me about the upcoming event and asked me if I wanted to take point. I misread that as take part and of course said yes. Oops. I decided to do it though. The hard part of organizing things is contacting people, and they will do that through their newsletter. All I have to do is measure a few things and maybe post to a few places.

Tomorrow, I am hoping to eat lunch with some friends, because I have a different shift with the adoptions than usual. I also have to get the cats in early tomorrow. XDH's sabbatical starts Monday, so I don't have to worry about DD11's lunches anymore. It was only 2 days I needed to take care of.

Tonight I am going to the knit/crochet group, do some rearranging in the sewing room, do some checkbook stuff, and bring in cat crates.

All is well at my home. Rain, hail but no tornado.

HUGE tornado (mile wide) is currently on ground and headed right toward downtown OKC.
DD home is directly in the path of the tornado. If tornado doesn't detour it will hit her home in about 20 minutes. I've been txt'ing with her and she had cellar door open and ready to go underground.

Okay ..... I'm watching and worrying for you and your dd. prayers going out. Still have migraine but keeping tv on.

Holding breath, waiting for OKay to update us.

Dinner was good. Then we sat on the front porch and chatted. Still hot, mid 80s, but low humidity and wind so it was pleasant and the mosquitoes weren't around.

Missed a Skype request from dh so am waiting for him to get back from his dinner.

Realized ds will have to sleep tomorrow after an overnight shift so I can't clean the house then before dh gets home. Got the kitchen done just now, will start in on the main floor vacuuming in a bit (but somehow try to keep checking Skype.) Will have to use the washer tomorrow, so can't avoid that.

Just heard from DD. She is okay.

Multiple tornadoes have been moving through OKC for the past 2 hours. Tornadoes are rain wrapped (can't be seen) but they know they are still on the ground by watching for electrical lighting up the sky as it is torn up. Now the tornadoes are over the SAME AREA that was demolished by last week tornado. 1000's of cars sitting still & backed up on interstate and can't get off...... in the path of tornado. Reports are starting to come in of deaths.

Oh, OKay, enough with all this bad weather. I'm glad you are safe. Man, they are getting a lot of rain.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HARRIET!

It was a quiet day here. I slept in since I was up in the middle of the night seeing DD2 off. Was up an hour keeping an ear out to hear that she got up. She's been working days on end with just a few hour's sleep each night. Finally I knocked on her door and she got up, having turned off her alarm and fell back asleep.

Helped DH move trucks around. Did one LOL and hung that up. Not a lot more happened here besides the usual daily chores.

Helia, you sound just like I did a week or so ago with too much to do and company coming. You will get through it!

Prayers answered Okay...now I can turn off tv now ... Still fighting migraine. Happy birthday Harriet
