I'm tired.

TA-da
** 3pm LO to his 5 year old doctor check up. All is well. He is waaayy off the charts for height and weight, but doctor isn't concerned. Said LO's weight is in proportion to his height. He did talk about LO not having a natural "stop eating" tendency. Said we would have to remain aware between the years 8-12 years old when it could get out of control.
** Clothes shopping for me an outfit to wear Monday. Found one. Not what I was looking for, but it fit me like a glove so I got it. Two piece business suit (skirt). I probably will never wear it again. Probably should have shopped more for something that would be more usable but I was short on time and just wanted to get SOME thing.
** 5pm - LO to drum lesson
** Sam's for list buying. Hurried home. Unloaded frozen food and tossed it into freezer then grabbed stack of school supplies and went back out the door.
** 7pm - LO to school for meet the teacher and bring your school supplies and find your classroom and find your chair and pay for cazillion fees and fill out a gazillion forms and PLAY WITH YOUR FRIENDS.

When we pulled up the house, I told LO. I am tired. Please do not ask me to do anything for the next 30 minutes. I just want to sit in a chair and not talk.

Time to get PM routine started.

I can relate, OKay!!! My little one (dgs) has allowed me a short nap tonight while he played very quietly and happily in the pack-n-play.
Hooray for that!!!
His mommy and daddy will be home soon, so this was not an extended visit for him, but I was just exhausted by the time we got home this afternoon.

Tomorrow is when I will REALLY be out of my comfort zone. Out of EVERYONE'S comfort zone. Everyone female, that is.
* sheesh * Annual check-up. * sigh *
Then I have to go find SOMETHING to wear to that dratted party this weekend...
and go to CVS...
and check on my dmom...

Oh, and I am going to wear the Yellow Box flipflop/sandals I was talking about, and if the hoity-toity don't like it, I am about past the point of caring. DH's cousin looked at them Sunday, with the black pants I am also wearing, and when I asked her if I would feel out of place if I wore that, she said "NOT AT ALL, b/c that is just about exactly what I am planning to wear, too." I can't wait to report to y'all Saturday and let y'all know if I was concerned about nothing... OR if dh's cousin and I look like we should be on Honey Boo Boo, LOL!!!

:D :D :D Happy birthday, blessed's dd!!! :D :D :D

Harriet, that was a very good deed, but definitely out of the comfort zone for most of us. WTG!!!
