I'm pretty surprised at how much I got done in an hour and a half. I have a stack of stuff that will be "integrated" into the house, a large stack of boxes I should breakdown and recycle, but will probably put in a dumpster around here. I threw away a fair number of things - xbil had given me a large bag of stuff for my sister but it all smells really bad and she's gained so much weight I doubt it would fit her. So it went into the trash. Dh periodically empties stuff out of his car into a box in the garage and there it stays....some I throw out, some I ask him about, some goes into goodwill box.

In my car I have several boxes for Goodwill, a box to go to the UPS store to shred, and the clarinet and trombone that I've been planning to donate to a school. When I go to dmom's tomorrow I can drop off the goodwill stuff and the school stuff, I hope.

Now to clean up the stuff around the step into the house....

Afraid I'm more of the wobbling type today.
Couldn't figure out why, and then I thought, right... yesterday was busy busy busy... so today I have to recharge, it seems.
Also, it is very wet and rainy here today. Good weather for sleeping.
I need to s2s, at least.

RETURNING TO EDIT WITH ONE ACCOMPLISHMENT TODAY:

Called the DMV/Municipal Court again.
It costs $182 to drive 63 in a 45 mile zone.

I loaded the empty boxes into the front seat of my car and took them to the dumpster. Too the opportunity to walk through a new about-to-close house too. Trying to decide what to do next, I've made a mess by bringing in stuff.

Hummmmm.....
-feed the impatient ddogs
-do a round of clearing, straightening on kitchen counters
-work toward clearing the kitchen table drop zone

lucylee, thank you for the reassurance that imperfect things can be reported in the village! If they only knew how mischievous a scalawag you could be if you put your mind to it, they'd know how unappreciative they are for your consistent restraint. :| As my dmother used to say, we never seem to get credit for all the green lights we stop for.

Well, I allowed a tangent to take over! Sidetracked! I'll report in A, C and N the patterns dd and I bought and the one she thinks she'd like to make first. We also found one fabric and matched zipper and thread to it.

I washed up the dishes and put away my greeting cards. Split them half and half with my senior friend and probably have too many. They used to all be in the a drawer in the kitchen and I've emptied that out.

I sorted through my Secretary in the dining room which holds all my blank writing notes and fancy papers. I put all the greeting cards (from the kitchen) into a binder that has page protectors for pockets. One pocket for each category. That fits the secretary as well so all writing papers are in the one spot now.

I found a pretty rectangular basket in the basement and put the cards I'm giving my senior friend into that, making dividers for each category. It looks really pretty.

I made reservations for dinner so we are heading out for that now. A friend of ours is singing at the pub tonight (he's a professional singer) and dh's drum teacher will be there too so we're going out on a date for dinner and a show!

Ds called as well and talked for ages. Good to hear his voice but it sounds like he's coming down with our colds!
