I did four of those, plus several other things - turned on the grill to cook some burgers, glued in the drawer slide that I cut down today at dmom's house, cleaned up email inbox a bit. So I am going again:

-summarize budget for annual meeting notice
-start burgers on the grill soon (dh is on the way home)
-clear kitchen table
-write a thank you note
-email re: meeting on SUnday a.m. re annual meeting notice prep

Helia, That's interesting about "tutee". I never knew that word before.

Twins', I'm glad you got the drawer slide glued in at your dmom's house.

Kathryn, Your sandwich sounded good to me.

I took a 1-hour nap in the recliner while DH's TV show was on, so I had funny dreams, because I heard the sports baseball guys talking. I got 1 letter today, 1 AARP Bulletin, a Writer's Digest Magazine and a writer's publication, by writers for writers, to just share their writing with each other. It only cost $2, but I was curious what it was. I won't subscribe or participate in it. I was curious and wasn't at all impressed by the looks of it. It was very unprofessional and not done well. There was an apology by the editor how she got the pages all mixed up, in a previous issue, too! Not *MY* cup of tea.

I should answer my letter, might later, have some reading/writing to do, and decided to do laundry tomorrow instead of today. It's my second day of pretty much allowing the day to "evolve" and relax. It feels nice.

I made my Easter Conga list, for the house, on a steno pad page. I'm glad I got that done and organized, too. DH mailed DD's book/letter to her. She called yesterday, to request a book she'd loaned me, back so she could read it. I'd been planning on writing to her anyway, so it gave me a chance to write another letter.

Have a nice afternoon and evening. :D Waving to you all!

I can barely move. Tried to think of what's not sore - maybe my toes. Even my fingers hurt from pulling weeds. And my back eweee. I'm going to take something and go to bed shortly.

DH was worn out from today's work also. A lot of walking back and forth and back and forth these past 3 days. My arms hurt all the way up into my arm pits! I can't believe I am this out of shape.

Dinner done / dishes piled up to do tomorrow because dishwasher isn't totally unloaded yet. Brought in my LOL but it isn't folded. I made tomorrow's lunches.

DH and I walked around outside to see what I'd gotten done. I need some new plants and some mulch. I didn't get anything planted in the vegetable garden while DH was away so there won't be anything this season except the broccoli which is still producing from last fall.

Kathryn, I sure remember those days of the car getting gross from slush and snow and salt. We just get dusty stuff here, unless one is mud bogging!

The car had been so dirty, I joked with dh and said the gas mileage should be better now that all the weight of dirt has been washed off!

Dinner is done and the boil is underway again. Dh brought in another 3 liters of sap for a total of 6 today. Given our tree's sugar content, that should make over 2 more cups of syrup.

I have a second load of laundry on. I use the spare bedroom to dry laundry and there's a chance dd and dsil are coming tomorrow night so I had to get the laundry done on Thursday instead of Saturday.

Bill paying is my next priority, then I'll start tidying up the kitchen.

Back from my walk after the baby left. We have storm clouds in the west and rain in the forecast.

Thinking of those in the midwest with watch boxes for tornado warnings and advisories up.

Home from a long day. I didn't get shopping finished but I am happy with what I did accomplish. I shopped for boots and found two pair that I liked then I realized they were marked down almost 50% so I bought them both. That should take care of my shoe needs for a long time. Tried on some jeans - looking for "girl" jeans (bling) that aren't low cut. Two sales clerks were helping me try different brand, but none of them worked. I almost refuse to wear low cut jeans because HATE showing my crack when I bend over. eeewwwe!

I did find a good selection of plants. I brought home 19 different varieties of tomato, pepper and flowers. I'm stoked about finding those.

LO ball practice tonight was enjoyable. it was fun to visit with the parents of the players as we all helped the little ones. I'm glad the practice was over before the dust storm hit here.

Been reading with interest about the rental search and rental ownership experiences. It has been about 40 years since we have rented something and about 20 years since we have owned rental property so my experience is waaay outdated. DSon/DDSIL just purchased 12 condos on Monday to add to their investment portfolio. The condo are located about 3 hours away from them......near where the shooting happened on Tuesday. Time will tell if they made a good investment....... or not.

Not much to report here!
DGS has been here all afternoon.
We got dmil's supper and our own, dh & dgs visited with her a bit while I went to get the supper. DS stayed quite a while when he came to pick up dgs.
Talked to my dmom on the phone for a while.
I s/s bathrooms and cleaned dh's shower earlier. Those are two Thursday cards that I usually manage to do. I intend to s/s toilets each day, but I do forget about as often as I remember.
Also set up and called to activate the new Directv box.
So, all in all, fairly busy day, I guess.
We're going to go see Captain America in a little while.
Waving to ALL!!!
Tomorrow is another day.

Have been trying to post this all day. We had to call the vet for Sammie earlier and things don't look good.
