Harriet, DKitty has put on a little weight, she seems to live for her food, we give her less, and DH told me today, he'll going to buy an older cat's brand of cat food, which specializes in aging cats. She's about 9 - 9.5 years old. But she's not doing what your Tobias is doing, knocking things down, to get the food, etc... She's not acting like your DTobias, either. I guess she's put on winter weight, as a guess.

She seems relaxed, she gets exercise and runs all over, playing like she's the feline version of the white tornado. However, since Thyroid was brought up,

I'll keep an "eye" on her, her behavior, to "see" if she's seeming like she's exhibiting those similar symptoms. I'd never thought of that, in her, but I'm having that problem, too, with my Thyroid and some days I get so FAMISHED that I feel like if I was a hunter and it was hunting season, I could go get an Elk and eat it ALL by myself!

It's just a terrible-terrible heavy hunger pang hunger. I know it must be so difficult for a cat, because they cannot voice their feelings in human language.

I hope he'll get better soon. ♥
