The small table loom is 3/4ths of th way warped now. Standing more than I am used to so taking a break now.

ToddlerN is here now. She "helped" with laundry. Got the bed spiffed up. Now I need a plan for dinner maybe fish.

Nancy's comment about laundry reminds me I have a small load to hang up.

At 1:45 dh asked if we could have guests at 4. I agreed if he helped and he did all the vacuuming. I got most of the rest of the Monday chores done and the place went from a bit trashed to show-ready in 1:15 although a lot of that was piling the papers on my roll top desk and shutting it.

The super showed up to unclog my tub and showed us what to do for next time. He got a mouse sized clog of my hair out of it. We'll be sure to take care of this from now on in on our own, I just didn't know how to disassemble the mechanism (the stopper is the kind you push once to put in place, push again to release.) We'll actually remove it, put in a hair trap and then use a flat stopper when we need to fill the bath tub instead of just shower.

We are heading off for dinner now. Since people were here when we were to cook (they've just left), dh said we'd go out to eat at the local pup tonight. Then I'll just walk from the pub to my class.

I'll hang up the laundry first. And maybe unload the dishwasher.

Very frustrated, remembered that I haven't been able to send to printer for several days, so had to trouble shoot. I think (hope) I have it squared away now. Temple f/s took longer than I thought, had to make some changes and dd called in the middle to talk for awhile. And at the same time ddogs were begging for their supper so I am feeling pretty well frazzled and weepy. And now that ddogs are fed they are barking incessantly.

I got stmt for tomorrow night printed, but will have to hope I won't end up on a jury all day tomorrow and will have time to do a couple of other needed tasks. Very frustrated about losing tomorrow and I just feel to edgy/frustrated to be very productive right now. And it's too late to start the soup.

I've had my spreadsheet lesson today and started on basic things with that. I see how they work, now. I know some of you consider these second-nature, but I've never had to know before - just specialized knowledge between spouses. What I can do, he doesn't have to, and vice-versa. It's good for me to learn something "new".

Spent time with calls regarding a death in dstepfil's family (someone I don't know). Because he is struggling so with dementia, dstepfil is spared any grief, but dmil is quite down about it.

We had vegetarian spaghetti with meatballs tonight so there was a lot of cleanup. Quite good tasting.

Elizabeth, she sketches the human figure all the time so she has the regular artist's wooden manikin figures. But she likes to study various doll types for posture and posing, too. The MH dolls have a lot of movement in the joints. There is a wrist joint that both turns and bends, and the knee joints turn to let the ankles cross or the lower legs splay out from the knee. They are interesting, odd characters, too - good for suggesting casual postures (as long as they are the four-limbed dolls!) I would call some of them waif-like or gangly.

Back from dinner (bison burgers were just $5 each at the pub thanks to the Monday night special) and my class.

As usual, the first class was fun, the second was scholarly but not fun. Had a good walk home. It wasn't near as cold this week as it has been. The walking is harder since there's lots of snow. As well, the path hasn't been plowed from the transit station to the apartment complex although with 2000 people in the three buildings, it was tramped down well, but definitely not straight. The snow must have drifted so people walked there the drifting was the least. So at one point there's a telephone pole that you have to walk around since it is now in the middle of the tramped down path.

Dfs has sent word through his wife that he's still alive at the end of day one. He's adjusting to the 5 a.m. start time and will have to learn to regiment his body functions to the Navy's schedule not his. I had forgotten he spent lots of time in the washroom when he lived with us!

Found a pen (in three pieces - top half, bottom half, ink refill) in the washing machine. Thankfully it didn't run. I can't believe my luck. I suspect it was one of ds's because I don't recognize it all. There were no pockets in the clothes that were run in the washer today (unlike ds's scrub tops with have a sleeve pocket for a pen.) So I suspect the blame for the pen lies with ds.

Off to bed now. Early start in the morning because dh has to go for his stress test and I'll drive him and then he'll call for me to pick him up. I might go shopping in between.

AAUGGUGUGHHH!!!

Just spent almost 2 hours at dmom's -- b/c I could not talk her through email so she could send me her medical history to print. Her printer doesn't work.
Okay... I could not talk ME through it EITHER, b/c she uses M icrosoft O utlook and I use a o l -- and for the life of me, I could NOT find a "SEND" command ANYWHERE.
Called dbro who is much more computer-savy than I... no... he couldn't find it either.
He did, however, remind me I could log in to my own a o l account and send it to myself that way.
All right... after waiting for dmom to correct things and update the list of meds, etc... I finally did that... checked my phone... email sent correctly...
Got home... printed...
AAUAUGUGUGUGUHHHHHHH!!!

I sent the ORIGINAL document, NOT the CORRECTED version.

Called dmom back... she said NOOO, do not come back to try again... she wants to go to bed. We will write in the revisions in the morning and/or she will take all meds with her.
I also thought, if I can possibly get myself there early enough, I can email again, and then forward from my phone to the nurse's desk when we get there.
Ugh... I did not want to have to build in enough time to do that in the morning.

Went into the eye M. D. today, because of 2 changed I noticed this weekend. He found nothing new to him, he said "Your retina's attached and it's quite happy, too!" I was only there a quick minute. I'm glad they got me in today. We got stuck in Statehouse traffic, on the way home, but it didn't last long.

I redecorated my office. I put out pink, red, lavender, and burgundy things. Everything looks so nice. I worked real hard, to get it looking fantastic, to me. (DH liked it, too!)

I wrote DH a Costco/and other grocery store, list. He'll go tomorrow, as I cancelled an appt. for 1/2-hour, with my therapist. I didn't know what was going on with the eye. I decided to see her, after I see the eye M. D. again. It just works out a lot better. Need to also get lab work done, for the thyroid level in 1 more week, and see my primary care doctor in 1.5 weeks. Sure will be nice, when and if the thyroid level turns around. This is frustrating, to get lab work done, every couple of months now. I feel like he's not looking into it further, because the insurance company ties his hands, making him jump through hoops, following their protocol and their steps, before they allow him to make anymore investigative ordering of tests. I have no "clue" how many lab tests I need to get done, before something more is looked into for this. Oh, well. It's just the way it is.

I saw a reader board saying, which said: WARNING! TIME CHANGES EVERY SECOND! It was comical. (IMHO).
