Last load of laundry is in the washer. DGS and I have had a good day, and our team won! * WOW * First time they've won an SEC tournament game (basketball) in (I think) 6 years! Half expected ds & dh to be looking for a hotel room to watch tomorrow's game, but no, they are on their way home and will be here in less than an hour.
I went and bought dgs' annual hand-painted porcelain Easter egg. This is only the second time, remember, b/c I had to get two last year.
And last year I let the lady talk me out of the cross, b/c she said mostly older people bought those, as memorials...
and I felt bad b/c I let her talk me out of it, b/c I thought well, duh... the CROSS is the whole reason for Easter, isn't it???
So this year, I just went right in, bought the egg w/the cross (w/little blue flowers all around it)...
and then came home and started second-guessing my choice, thinking I didn't want it to seem morbid.
Called dmom so she could tell me I was stupid.
I am such a nut.
DH and DS agree the cross is an entirely appropriate selection for a collectible Easter egg.
Waving to Kathryn and Ken -- and sending lots of wishes for good weather and NO CYCLONES!
Hope you had a safe and pleasant (at least as much as possible) visit w/dsis, Twins.

Certainly hope problems at church don't become too troublesome, helia. I haven't properly cuop so I'm not sure what is going on, but I certainly know how church problems CAN become very troublesome.
Did I see where the helper was back, Harmony? That's good news, isn't it?
Also impressed w/Rose! Out hiking and racing and I can't even motivate myself to do 15 minutes Walk Away the Pounds.
Geneology... we signed up for Ancestry.com, and now I know I will NEVER get a minute on the computer when dh is home. Good gracious. He and ds are talking back and forth on the phone all the time and then he's back on here, typing in information, looking for people... I told him I was definitely going to buy a laptop for myself. He said he thought that's why I had the smart phone, but there are limits to what one can do with a smart phone. It is certainly not good for typing anything much.
Weather is nice here. Got a little break from the rain and it was warmer today; dgs and I sat out on the porch swing for a while.
Housekeeper is supposed to come go through dmil's clothing tomorrow... that should get another room emptied, although it will be next Tues. before I can take to the local church/goodwill drop-off, and I may contact a consignment shop for some items. DH's cousin advised that, but I don't know if it's worth it or not.
Dbil -- who has had us all VERY aggravated re: insurance, transferring deeds, etc. -- reports today that he does have the house insured for another 3 months. * sheesh * How can ANYONE work so slow????
