That sounds pleasant to sit on the porch in the rain, Harmony.
We have just emerged from a pretty serious storm that didn't seem to hurt anything right in our area, but set off all the auto-calls from the weather service and county alerts. The downpour was really something - the worst pounding we've had this year.
I've made a dent in laundry that needs to continue tomorrow but we have two sets of company coming so I don't know how that's going to work, and I'm disappointed that I didn't get to that pair of jeans that had to sit in a spill on the way home yesterday! Uck.
I told HRH we need to make some clothes purchases and stop putting it off. He is the worst procrastinator on spending a dime on clothes.
As for me, I did order 3 new tops. Two were correct purchases for the season and one was because it was on sale, but will require hemming the long sleeves if I intend to wear now. I make a lot of work for myself by being cheap!
