Quick hi before the clock makes it tomorrow.
Church this morning. Went to pharmacy on the way home to pick up Rx that I would have been out of Tuesday. Relieved to have that. Since I was in a different shopping center for a change I looked in another one of their stores for some things I've been keeping an eye out for. Scored some shorty pajama bottoms, not the really really short ones but couple inches above my knees. It's a really hard length to find. Stores seem to have ankle length or really short ones. I needed something really soft but not hot with soft forgiving seams inside to aid with my dumb rash I've been trying to heal. These should help. Everything else I needed wasn't there.
Down to get gas in the car, you know, that liquid gold-priced stuff we put in the tank these days. $3.55 for regular today.
Meals first, ran the dishwasher, got rubbish out for pickup tomorrow. Emptied dishwasher. Finished a library book. I'd dropped 2 off at the book bin on the way back home so there's 2 left to read. But I just thought about Bible study starting up in September, so about 1 month away and I am reading a bunch in prep for that, so a lot to do.
Must run to the store early tomorrow so DH can use the car later. Have to get stuff to make for our small group BBQ we're going to on Tuesday. There are 6 of us around this summer, maybe 8, and we're all bringing something. I guess the host is BBQing something. Potato salad and dessert was already offered so I said I'd bring a fresh fruit salad and deviled eggs. If I'd figured it out before I got home today I could have picked up this stuff while I was out.
Hmmm 52 years difference in those dates, LadyM. I'm wondering what the significance of that is? Well, 1918 was the end of WWI (I'm bad with dates, I had to look it up).
