mom is absolutely her old self today!!!!
she even said to dd younger - you should leave early bc of rush hour. - wonderful!!!!
taking it for the day!
spoke to people that would come over and we may have a solution - I will know by the end of the next week. keeping fingers crossed - they have a Norwegian woman who also cleans houses. I would rather have that then what I have for now. mom and Scandinavian women have always made wonderful friends and workers. praying it all works out.

hello all
thinking of d ken and Kathryn. praying the meds work out fast!

hello d harmony glad your tooth is better
hello d Nancy
hello d Lucy praying!
hello d rose
hello d dee praying!
hello d lady
hello d all

praying for each of the needs with all our sweet group!

wrapped as much as I could but ran out of paper.
I found a whole in my Christmas shopping that I will take care of this week. I checked my closet and realize I didn't get one gift.
I am tickled that I got the paper whites planted and the one plant repotted.
I ordered rose hips for the holidays. Next year I will grow the rose that has beautiful rose hips.

I have to run a couple errands tomorrow and I don't want to but it is better just to get it done.

dh -" I'll mail those xmas cards tomorrow" - I told him it's amazing that he always wants to take care of my stuff before his own. he laughed. He mentioned that he forgets and that's why he said he would take them - lol I know that's not it.
when comes to gifts, food that I make etc. he always wants to be the one who brings them in. (it's a funny thing - he likes being the man of the hour-even if I do all the work  ) rather sweet. I think he likes that his name is on the card and wants to make sure they are taken out on time.

Yesterday he was about to tell me about lingonberries - as if we had never had lingonberries before. He worried me a bit - he used to work at a Swedish grocery store in town as a teen and in his young 20's - my brother and d friends worked there too. he felt I didn't know what it was that I bought.
- He forgot that we have them every year (he doesn't like them). with Swedish pancakes or with Swedish meatballs or Swedish rye. We used to go to door county all the time bc my dmom had a place there. Mom was friends with Ingert and Al Johnson in sister bay who had a wonderful restaurant now run by their children. Al's been gone for a long time now. At Al Johnson's Every day they let the goats on the roof (summer) to keep the grass down and the tourists love it! . -yep it has a grass roof. They serve lingonberries with lots of things. wonderful memories. https://aljohnsons.com
it is always a joy to be here with you!

So dgs1.75 won't be here tomorrow or Sunday (or overnight) so I have a bed to sleep in tomorrow.

He does have to be here on Tuesday, though, so his parents can work (and since they both work in a hospital, taking a day off isn't possible.) They aren't comfortable with dgs here with dh so we'll move dh to a hotel on Monday and we'll pay for 2 days even though dh can come home on Tuesday night (because you have to leave a hotel by noon and he won't be able to come home until dinner time.)

We'll both test on Sunday before 4 p.m. and if dh tests negative, he can stay here and if I test positive Sunday (or Monday), ds and TG are screwed (as will be one of their hospitals.) Ds is on our lease still, which makes us eligible for PCR tests (because we 'live' with a hospital worker) but we don't think we'll need them. The rapid test was very clear. Ds is coming tomorrow with another couple of boxes of tests (we have ~15) and some hospital disinfecting wipes.

Dh is still not in bed. He's now been up since Wednesday night our time. He's had all day Thursday and 2 Fridays and he still is not in bed.

I'm having a meltdown here because I'm so frustrated.

I have a feeling I'll be going to bed soon just because I'm so angry there's no point staying up.

I have the patio door open 3" now so I can drink my tea without having to drink it through a straw (in order to keep the mask on.)

Dinner tasted good. I should make that more often. There's enough for Sunday night so we'll probably have pizza tomorrow.

LM try juicy fruit gum for moles and rodents in your braised beds.
Dinner was beef and barley soup it really hit the spot.
I had a bath and soaked my foot, then did the alphabet with my foot for exercise and that helped.
Talked with dson for a while.
