NOPE! No heat no fan called the tech. they are coming tomorrow morning ten -one window.
I am NOT happy.
Gas is on pilot lite is on. Furnace is not, checked the easy stuff breaker, condensator thing is dry. Sigh.
Drat. Saga continues.
The fan is not working.
After a week and now this poo!
Walk in a bit but phone needs to charge nearly at my wits end.

Sniff sniff.

Ugh! So very sorry, Nancy. I hope they can get you up and running in the morning.

Oh, Nancy! How frustrating!!! Maybe all will be well by this time tomorrow!

Harriet -- I'm feeling fine. DGS is still under the weather -- threw up "a little bit" again today, so he is staying home for the fifth day tomorrow! At least his mommy is home now. He has a follow-up appt with orthopedic doctor tomorrow, so ddil asked if we could pick up dgd at school tomorrow afternoon.

This is another day I've been out of the house all day.
Teacher group meeting... then I stopped by local boutique where I ordered gift for mother, but I changed my mind on the color and asked if they could swap that in a second order they were doing. They said they could. While I was in there, I bought dbil's girlfriend a couple of sweatshirt type tops. Then I went to local Merle Norman store and got make-up and conversation. The lady there was married to my dgfather's first cousin at one time, and they have a daughter I graduated with, so she has known my family forever. I was in there half an hour, just catching up, talking about the problems with the modern medicine system, etc.

Then I came home and dh agreed that since my dmom has not answered the phone all day, and I have not talked to her since Sunday evening, when she was very sick -- I should go out there and check on her.
She was not home! So -- as I started back home, doctor's office called and said she has an MRI scheduled for Thursday at 9:00 a.m. They couldn't get in touch with her either... so... shaking my head... I told them I would pass that on. \o/

Dbil called and said the condo repairs will not be done till after Thanksgiving... @!_&^*&(+(

DH aggravated about all that... and also aggravated because ds said he would just do group chat re: dgs' basketball practice this afternoon (dh thinks they should make appearance and at least let dgs watch first practice.) And also aggravated & nervous because he hasn't received new lab reports yet.

I don't think we have ever been without natural gas. I just take it for granted that it will always be there. We have experienced MANY times without electricity for days/weeks and always used gas as a backup. Gas runs the house generator, so we still have electricity. I haven't given much thought to having a backup plan for not having natural gas available.

Tested DS15 again and he is still covid positive. He feels fine and wants to resume his normal life. A positive covid test means he is contagious, doesn't it?

Yep that is what I understand LM.

I have been able to simmer down and getting back on my no heat schedule.
I pulled my sr. citizen widow card and did not have to wait till Thurs. yea!
Store run was successful.
Both kids have heat now.

I have talked to about 5 people and yep call the tech. is what they say.
Plus it is electrical I think and I am not messing with that.

Some good news got meals to warm up and wash my thrifted finds mostly
things for Holiday food snacks and such.
One more small bread pan better than one I have here.
A new tree shaped pan with the label still on it!
Two books holiday theme to browse through.
A small dish for just one I have been looking for too.

It's been a lovely day no fog here yea!
