Twins and Harriet…
My mom use to make dandelion salads when I was growing up. Think she got them from our yard. I never like them because the leaves are kind of spiky and had a bitter taste. Must have been an old timey thing. Doesn’t surprise me because she was a child of the depression and that affected many things in her life.

I understand, RR. My maternal grandmother probably made the tea. It was. Her belief that every newborn benefited from sassafras tea.

There is poke salad my mom used to talk about it was greens, did not have em in the north were I grew up.
Never had em.

Walked ddoggo around the block in the falling snow I needed to get some fresh air and more steps in.
Now I'm boiling eggs to devil.
Snow is not sticking her now roads have some bare spots.
Got my steps in for today.

I'll warm up my dinner in a bit.
