Pick up my footprints! (Thank you, RRose!) What does this mean specifically for me? 0ff the top of my head: PUPA things out of place before I go to bed, PUPA tools I have used to do the housework, wipe down kitchen surfaces when I've finished there. Put my breakfast bowl and mug in DW. In other words, pick after myself!
Make list of outstanding jobs on the house and send to Handyman A. DF PM, who has been mentoring him through some difficult turns his life has taken, thinks he may be ready to start some jobs again. (If he doesn't reply in a reasonable time, or doesn't want to do anything, then I'll look for someone else, but I would prefer not to do that). Off the top of my head, clean gutters and the swan neck on the downpipes where "stuff" tends to accumulate, clean cladding back and front and downpipes, and short return wall as well. Replace the bit of mortar that's fallen out of the edge of the roof (I think its called the verge?) , fix dripping kitchen tap ( new washer?), sort out cabinet that wobbles, fix garage guttering that's loose at one end and bending down. More as I think of them? ( Waiting for a reply)
Take up and hem those thick winter curtains for the kitchen
Book eye test for me
Find picture hanging equipment for DH
Sort prints and put in albums (this will probably be an activity to do on wet days!) WIP
Think about setting up Guardianship for F,J and M - looked on Cats' Protection, I need their microchip numbers, approximate DOB, colour and markings and useful information about them. Bookmark link with local recommended solicitors (also ask DF CW?)
Change health centres to the one nearest us? On hold ATM , but I'll leave it on my list so I don't forget.

Cold north wind made after church colder than the earlier part of the morning.
then we went to local restaurant for waffle and ham - Mom only eats half, so I eat the other half. And will have a little more of something later.
I was going to tak and afternoon nap, but stopped at ds, where he fixed some strange things going on with my phone, and now it's supper time, not nap time. But I don't feel like eating, and won't stay here long.
lalurlind, I'm the one on my feet while shopping. Mother is in a wheelchair, so I help her transfer into the car, put the w/c and its cushion into the car, then take it out of the car, help her transfer back into it, and push her around the store, while dragging a cart along behind us. She is able to propel herself using her feet, to go a few inches at a time, as she paws through the merchandise on the clearance racks.
When I thought we were done, she found 3 tables of "sparklies" and spent another at least 90 minutes looking at them. Yes, my foot with tendonitis was complaining!
When done shopping, it's back into the car with her and the w/c again, then to the NH and out of the car and into the NH. Her into the care transfers have deteriorated - she tries to sit down in the air space between the w/c and the car. I have a smooth, varnished transfer board that I used for my husband years ago, that I am trying to help her learn how to use. It serves kind of like a shoe horn for her to slide into the car.

Gma what a lot of work for you. Amazing what we do to keep them happy. And comfortable. Even when they are a little unreasonable...

Church was good. Refreshing. Came home and dh took ds to bball. We ate something and off to mom and dad's again. Dh moved the tv upstairs so they don't have to go up and do so much. Took a little detail dusting and cleaning. I ran around dusting after him . Did up lunch dishes and put away some of the laundry. We moved a fig tree plant into the sunroom and had to clean up the raining leaves. Garbage out on the way out on time to go get ds
Phew. Set for another day. Sister will go sort meds again at supper time.

Now what for supper. Something easy I think. Deciding if I want to make myself go to worship night. I think I do.

Sorry mr Casper dog. I don't think you're getting a walk today super wet gross snow again.

I took a nap, which I might have really needed or it might have been the Benedryl that I took from Germane's stash. We are having a nice day, so I was able to get Germane out for her walk.

Yay for good church, kittykatt. It must be very hard on your DF to watch her dh's decline. But it must be a relief that he is happy and not frightened and panicky.
WTG on getting organized for the week.

An afternoon in the coffee shop sounds very relaxing, helia, unless the work isn't.

The wind makes all the difference, Gma. I can relate to sore joints while strolling with a person in a wheelchair. I once went to a museum with my db. He was fine in his chair, but I was so grateful when I found a bench that I immediately became very interested in the display right there, LOL. I can imagine your relief when you made it out of the store.

I'm glad that church was good, and that you got to cross moving the TV off of your list, laurlind. That was a big one.

Thanks doggedly. I guess I have to count what I do there as tada too. A whole morning of routine plus detail cleaning and organizing done in a couple hours. I move faster when I have a time limit. And clear plans for what to do. I guess I've actually done ok. When I can do a whole list of stuff here and then go do it all over again there.

Ok I'll take it. Exhausted but reasonably successful. And I only missed one day of work.

I think I'm going to get to the worship night.
