Have a good night, L.Ann.

That is great that your parish lunch is popular, Kittykatt. Looks like you'll be having more participation in the future.

You are very good to your mother, Gma. And to your sister who leaves messes everywhere for you to clean up!

I have taken Germane out for her walk. It is beautiful and cool outside. I've got my patio door wide open now, to try to cool down the apartment.

Last ci; I'm tired and going to bed.

I like the name of your sauce, Doggedly! LOL!
Glad the lunch was a success, Kitty.
Oh my, that's a lot of cleaning after your sister, Gma. And kind of you to send her a dress. Is she your younger sister?

Next:
- get ready for bed
- sleep well with the cooler temps!

Later:
- writing time
- sheets on guest beds
- go to craft store? (Parking is difficult in that area of town - could also go tomorrow as it's in the general direction of the NH)
- walk

TaDas!
- up; weighed self - a bit up
- coffee
- email deletions + weather website - it should clear up this afternoon with a high of 74*F
- 8-9 work out with AS
- gassed the car
- some qt
- reclaimed kitchen
- groc. list and wrote up menu plan for the week - minus tomorrow's menu which dh hasn't given me yet
- Kroger run; also deposited plastic bags to be recycled -- if they actually are recycled :?:
- put everything away
- lunch
- back exercises
- s2s and self care
- squeegee and wipe down shower
- made the bed
- folded and put away darks
- lights: washing
- paid snail mail bills + house ins. bill
- filed away receipts; mail bills prepped for the mail
- put the desk sorter together; the directions were rather unclear.
- lights: dried, folded, and put away
- jigsaw puzzle put away
- one veggie bin in the fridge washed out
- calendars --> storage bin downstairs
- dinner: tuna pasta, green salad
- after dinner clean up
- duo
- looked at calendars with dh; I have a couple weekends to offer dbro to stay here, including dmom's bday weekend! We will also ask the Ss to move travel with them; otherwise, it would be 3 weekends of travel in a row in October: travel with them, the Detroit half marathon with dh (we always stay overnight), and then the longer trip to Seattle for the birth of our dgbaby. Plus 2 weekends of travel in September, 3 if we take a weekend retreat for the two of us. . . It feels like a lot.
- updated health apps

It's my favourite recipe, helia, and it comes out different every time!
That does look like a lot of travelling. My one trip to visit my db twice a year always seems like a big deal to me.

I have the dw, the coffee maker and the breadmaker all going. I keep putting off hanging the delicates, but will get on with it now. I'm reaching the point where I would like to head to bed too.

Thursday
Cleaned up after dog
Made arrangements to donate a box of pee pads and the hydrolysed protein dog food that Germane doesn’t like
Spiffed self
Started two loads of laundry
Germane pooped in the laundry room, beside her pee pad.
Cleaned it up. I bring wipes with me to clean off the machines, so we are well prepared.
Brought Germane back, where she used her pee pads properly. Celebrated.
Flipped laundry
Called restaurant to tell them the final headcount for Saturday
Filled the dw to run later:”Retirement” Goal Win: Filled it mostly with dishes that need to be washed a second time, that were cluttering up a shelf
Called the animal hospital to get Germane’s prescription renewed and check for dog food. They are out of Germane’s but think that they will have some in stock tomorrow. I hope so.
Hung the dry laundry
Walked Germane
Filled/started breadmaker
Scrubbed out sink and basin
Started dw

It will be nice to wake up to a clean kitchen, doggedly. You've had a busy day. All those things take time, and we wonder how we had time for work
I am the oldest sibling. 2 younger sisters, then an afterthought brother. She is the middle sister. Married wealth, divorced, and often acts entitled. She's our sister, so we love her. She's had a difficult life - and she lets everyone know it. I don't think it would be wrong to say that I have had a difficult life full of caregiving. I have the least amount of $ of my siblings, but it is plenty adequate for my needs plus able to be what I think is generous in charities and giving to church. I don't think I complain.

I'm NOT going to work in my sewing room tonight, as I had hoped and thought I would. It's after 11pm; I am just home from setting mother's hair, helping her get her clothes off and nightgown on, get into bed. We have been singing a bedtime lullaby prayer in the evening. And a stop at teh grocery store because I had a coupon for $5 that expired at 11pm today. I think bed and book is a better plan than starting a sewing room project!

G'night!

I think that you are right, Gma. I had always wondered how my coworkers with kids got everything done. For myself, I can confess that it didn't get done! I did what I needed for work, but tended to let things at home slide as long as it didn't affect anyone else.
The sewing will still be there tomorrow. Have a good sleep!

FACEd finances: checked account balance
Broke into new box of pee pads. They are packed in so tightly that this involves needlenose pliers
Cleaned up after Germane
Fresh water and kibble for Germane
