Never reached the internet company. I'll try again soon. Maye later in the day they aren't "experiencing a high call volume"
I did reach my health insurance company that rewards us with $5 every month for participating in regular exercise. And 4x a year for volunteering. (I do plenty of that!) So I am getting a gift card to use at Walmart.
I got a watermelon cut up, and brought the larger half to my ds and family.
Managed to do 2 hours of continuing education to renew my license on line. I have 16 hours to go. I think I'm just going to give in and pay for a year subscription, so save time of looking for free ones. I can do my remaining ones for this license renewal period. My new renewal period starts at the end my birthday month - Nov - so I can start new continuing ed right after Christmas, and get my hours in for the next 2 year renewal period as well. I'm not sure if I will continue renewing after that or not.
It's senior day at the grocery store.
Garbage day tomorrow
And I need to go see mother.
My day is far from over!

We have to go to the ER with DD32 because she is immune compromised, helian but I would be unlikely to go just for that otherwise. It takes at least 30 minutes and sometimes longer for it to kick in but we usually do Tylenol although I know you can alternate with ibuprofen but DD32 is allergic to that so it isn’t on the drugs I use list. If you have a covid test I would do that. You can do that at home and if you know it is covid you can do a phone call to your doctor in the morning to discuss options. Covid it pretty high again at the moment and I have heard that this particular strain has a high fever. If you do go to the ER make sure you mask because we got covid twice even masked at the hospital.

Helia, a temp of 102 in an adult is a trip to the emergency room. What are your other symptoms? Respiratory? Aches? Urine?
It will take advil about an hour to start bringing the temp down. A tepid bath can help also, a cold cloth around your neck (ice cubed wrapped in a damp wash cloth). However forcing a temp down when your body wants it to go up can leave you feeling miserable, and when the advil wears off you can have shaking chills and aches again. You need to find out the reason for the temp. Drink plenty of cool (not icey cold) fluids also.

Thanks Gma and L Ann! Oh - I didn't think about Covid. Maybe I should test myself. Are people still concerned about that? We have home tests here.

I'm feeling much better now so I think the Advil kicked in. I suspect I have a sinus infection -- I used to get those a lot when I lived in Texas. I had some allergies there. Anyhow, I do have a headache in my forehead and congestion, etc. Now I'm sweating and taking layers off whereas before I was shivering and couldn't get warm enough. I'll keep the Advil going.

I ate some chicken and rice soup and drank a small bottle of Gatorade that dh gave me. I'm now working on cinnamon tea.

I'll record my food intake, take a covid test, and then get ready for bed. Dh says he doesn't want to get too close to me so I wonder how we'll work that out?

Hi all. I hope you feel better soon helian. If it's sinus infection will you need antibiotics? Not fun at all.

Is it your nursing license you are keeping active gma? Your evenings are always much longer than mine. Although supper time is probably earlier and you usually get up later. Can you stay with your mom later at the home?

I went for my walk while ds started cooking. I told him he should make something with all the fresh herbs. They're rather thriving atm. His creation is almost done. I should go get some lettuce for salad and do a few things.

Make salad
Set table out of the clean dw
Eat and clean up
Actually finish the kitchen so I can do something else in the morning
