LOL, helia, I'm just playing catch up with myself. I got my laundry done and retrieved it from the laundry room before it was locked. Between you and me, I think that Maintenance has just quietly started "forgetting" to lock the laundry rooms, but one doesn't like to rely on that. Anyway, I got the wet laundry hung (that doesn't go in the dryer) but before I got around to hanging the dryer load I got weird pains that I occasionally get. They seem to be related to gas, because eventually I start to feel better and then I burp. But until that happens, it feels hard to distinguish from a heart attack. I went to lie down, the pain passed and I woke up at 4:00 am to Germane stumbling around and pooping randomly. I'm back to feeling normal and have started my day:

Cleaned up after dog
Spot-cleaned floor
Benedyrl, probiotics and treat for dog
Put on a pot of coffee
Put away dry dishes from drainers
Tried to make toast. Threw away bread.
Put away headscarf
Put away dry dishes
Filled cookie jar
Reclaimed old basin and scrubbed it out
Hung the tshirts around the apartment to finish drying
Turned the blanket to dry better
Spiffed self
Treats for Germane
Put some fish on to cook

Hooray for Roomba help, trissie. I bought my db one years ago when he was in his wheelchair, to relieve the stress on his spouse. They loved it.

WTG on getting 5 pots of pansies planted, Kittykatt. That is quite a variety planned for your Fridays. They do say that it is the spice of life.

“I went to lie down, the pain passed and I woke up at 4:00 am to Germane stumbling around and pooping randomly.“ That got me chuckling.
This is the story of my life right now with Tux, my senior cat. He will get on a schedule for a few days and then it’s a game of find the poo for awhile. And the floors are brown. You never know! Yesterday he went 3x! Usually he’s a once a dayer. Keeps me on my toes.

Wtg to everyone. Sorry I’m not doing individuals. We just got home. Tech came and left. Dh had to get labs done, we stopped by an Amish food store, paid a bill, ate at a seafood restaurant, pu an rx for dh, went to pu an auction winning but she hadn’t put it out yet and wasn’t home so will need to go back. It’s a nice day, low humidity, so I had a good time getting out of the house. I need to start mowing but I’m low energy today. Watching the news then I need to make myself get up and walk the dogs, pu the yard to prep for mowing tomorrow.

Bama, I can no longer make my way to the little girls room without turning on the lights because the floor is lava. I never knew what that game was preparing us for.

Germane is alert and walked her whole walk, even tugging on her leash, and had no memory problems when it came to her after-walk treat.

I'm just now home again. I'm very tired, and I think I'll just veg for the evening. I'll do duolingo. Not sure about health apps; we ate at a restaurant tonight and that's hard to track. (Not a chain.)

I did not go see my mom this evening. I sat with her for about 2.5 hours this afternoon. Dh stopped by this morning as did the chaplain and the hospice nurse.

Lol at the floor is lava game. Too true! I wear hard bottom shoes always but dh is stubborn and walks around barefoot. He’s gotten burned by lava a few times.
