Helia, it’s April fools day too so look out for tricks. Social media is playing hard and almost got me until I remembered what day it is.

Dogged, they’re always watching.

Wtg LAnn.

You’re smart to train your dog kitkat. Beau was easily excited until he turned 2-3 years old and very strong. We would try to socialize him but he had to grow out of it. German shepherds are known for being bitey until they mature.

We got our “morning” walk in, fed the outside animals, played ball, I’ve updated my list, chilling a minute before I tackle a box of papers.

♥ Wednesday focus - trash, first of month items ♥
Monthlies - 8-) measurements, 8-) vinegar in dw, 8-) whiten teeth, face mask, mani/pedi, 8-) change AC filter, 8-) add bleach to AC and flush with gallon hot water, 8-) simparico trio, pledge kitchen cabinets, clean glass
8-) Wear sunscreen
8-) Weigh
Water 💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧
8-) Take vitamin, supplements

Something fun and crafty
Daily habit thread - 8-) arm wts, 8-) sit to stand 10x, walk

I went on a little spending spree after I got my tax refund. One of the things that arrived today was another mat that I ordered to give Germane extra traction, but I'm going to have to rethink its location. It's a polar bear against a brown background. Every time I catch sight of it out of the corner of my eye, I mistake it for Germane.

Thank you, helia. I have enjoyed my old standby: rice with frozen vegetables.
Deep breath and back into the fray! But you get tonight off, right?

I suggest a blow torch as your weapon of choice, as you tackle that box of papers, Bama. At least, that's how I always feel about mine.

Wednesday
Heart pill for dog. Picked up food and set alarm.
Cleaned up after dog
Started to CUOP
Got distracted by how annoyingly Windows had arranged the icons on my taskbar. I was blaming the space assigned for widgets that I had turned off.
Did a bit of research online and found that it was an alignment problem. Easy fix.
Checked out info about today’s moon mission launch
Offered Germane breakfast: both dog foods rejected
Gave Germane a piece of fish: accepted
Gathered clothes for shower
Emptied out WPBs
Put away dry dishes
Showered/washed hair
Quick scrub of bathtub
Cleaned up after dog
Accepted delivery
Went through box: one item missing. Box says 1 of 2.
Checked GT’s web site: no info
Checked courier’s web site: much better. It shows the shipment in two boxes, and one of the boxes is still stuck in Montreal.

Hello everyone!

Helia, thanks for the support. You have a very social time!

L.Ann, sorry about poor DD being turned into a pin cushion. Fingers crossed for better luck next time!

Bama, our vets has a cat waiting area and a dog waiting area, both labelled clearly, and with a picture of the relevant animal ( in case anyone doesn't read English well - we are a university city with lots of foreign students and lecturers) and still people go to the wrong area!

Have fun with DGD, KitKat. I'm impressed with DPup!

Enjoy your time in the garden, Trissie!

Dogged, I hope you manage to combine your lecture and the launch! You're right about Fred - I was there! And I think there must have been different and additional bacteria in his mouth this time due to his dental issues. I dont think it's me getting older and my immune system deteriorating, as he also bit me last November, and that healed very quickly.

Freddie is recovering well - he's made it on top of "his" cupboard today - but he's still sleeping more than usual, which is only to be expected. However, he's waking regularly to inform me he would like something to eat!

I've had a long chat with Fred's vet nurse today - usually he should go for a post op check up in a couple.of days, but that really isn't going to happen with Fred, as no one is going to be able to look in his mouth safely. So we've discussed the symptoms I need to be aware of which might suggest he's getting an infection (rare, but it can happen) , and to ring if I'm worried at all. I've also had some time in my garden and cleaned the kitchen , and I'm going to seemif Fred wants another snack before I try for early night.

So far so good, Kittykatt. It looks like the launch might be completed before my wildfire talk starts.
I'm glad that Freddie seems to be recovering well from his operation.

Easy fix.

Gave Germane a piece of fish: accepted
Gathered clothes for shower
Emptied out WPBs
Put away dry dishes
Showered/washed hair
Quick scrub of bathtub
Cleaned up after dog
Accepted delivery
Went through box: one item missing. Box says 1 of 2.
Checked GT’s web site: no info
Checked courier’s web site: much better. It shows the shipment in two boxes, and one of the boxes is still stuck in Montreal.
Looked up ticket info for tonight’s talk about wild fires: it starts at 9:00 pm in my time zone, not 6:00 pm.
Went back to check the original announcement: it says it starts at 7 p.m. CST, which logically should be 8:00 pm my time.
Tried to check SK time zone in timetemperature.com: the website doesn’t exist anymore.
Went on NRC’s web site and found that in the winter SK is on Central Standard Time with MB as it always has been, but in the summer it moves to Mountain Daylight Time with Alberta. That’s a two-hour difference from me.
Bagged kitchen garbage. Brought it and Germane to chute
Checked mail with Germane
Tracking for missing parcel has been updated. They still list today as the delivery day, but a couple of hours ago it was still in the sorting facility in Montreal, so not likely.
