Just the children came rather than ds and ddil. Ds, they say, was trying to use the last daylight to work on vehicles. Tomorrow there is a big festival in his work municipality, and I wonder if he's getting ready for that. DgdC helped me open up the outdoor chest of gardening items. I see that two of my large baskets are there and ready for plants if I get around to more planting than I expect. Hoses look fine. She thought irrigation hoses did, too, but I know they probably didn't fare well in storage during this time - were already springing the wrong kind of leakiness last time I used them.
She stared at my eyes and can't see any difference (neither can I), which surprised her since HRH told her Grandma has a bionic eye now. DgsW was full of stories about catching particular fish almost big enough for certification of some kind, but just a few inches too short. They tossed them all back anyway.
Heard from WonderBoy that his recuperation from wisdom teeth extraction is going okay. He has gotten tired of being down and out and went outdoors a while today, mowed some. Also tired of macaroni and cheese.
I did a little more sewing, plus corrected a mistake.
Dd27 texted and asked for "recipe" for broccoli sprouts growing. Also, a recommendation for an inexpensive sewing machine. I've got to ask her what she considers inexpensive - it's not at all a given that she and I will define that the same way. As far as the growing of sprouts, I wonder... .. her work schedule keeps her away from home for long periods and she'd probably have to teach dsonil how to rinse them at times.
