National Look up at the Sky Day? We've had a continuing run of very nice sunny weather - and here's a day suggesting we look up at the sky above and observe the clouds, stars, and sky. Take a moment or two and enjoy the day!

In between looking up, there's no reason we can't log some ta das too, so feel free to get stuff done too!

I just got the garbage out - dh forgot I guess. Now that he's working out from 8 - 9 I have to get it out when he's forgotten.

I had a super hard workout yesterday - faster paced and lots of repetitions going back to same moves. I was tired, had to get in shower soon after I was home and get to meeting last night. Email had originally said to be there at 5:30 - an email during the day from the facilitator urged us to be there by 5:15 so we could start at 5:30, and from the host suggested getting there at 5. We were the last to arrive at 5:19 actually. Meeting was focus group of "long time members" discussing the rabbinic search - what qualities were important in our next rabbi? As I said, very well run, ended two hours later, we had pizza while discussing in smaller groups and refining our top three, then as a group refining those statements.

I was up twice in the night with the dog and once more when dh was already awake and got up. The second time up she was agitated, going back and forth along our back wall looking and smelling and barking some. She didn't want to come in, I had to go out there, she was avoiding me, and I got her back in. Don't want her waking the neighbors up, and I certainly wanted to get back in bed soon. Dh gets angry about her wanting out but I think she's just doing what a dog does - trying to protect us - and she has a strong prey drive for little furry things out there.

I have bodywork at ten - less than an hour, and a CDG renewal discussion group on Zoom at four today. Dh will be out - his team is done bowling but he'll be at the bowling alley and I think they're going out to eat after. I'm not cooking dinner at least.

Good morning

I love looking at the sky (especially since they have quit spraying things on us!). The clouds are back to their normal movement and the sunrise/sunsets are stunning to observe.

I've gathered and taken four 50gallon bags of trash to the road and was successful in the beat the garbage truck weekly race.

I walked the neighborhood this morning which resulted in several neighbors asking about all the emergency vehicles at our home a couple days ago. DH stood in the middle of the road watching me walk most of that time. This made me realize that he needs some bright neon type shirts to wear so is easier for everyone to see.

DD14 has been delivered to school using our new driving habit in effort to get her to become a trained driver. Using GPS is going to become normal part of our travel. It should help solve the challenge of DD14 geography unawareness, so I need to set an example and make using GPS a part of our normal life.

I think today is Lucylee's dh's yartzeit - the anniversary of his death. In Jewish practice we say Kaddish and/or light a candle for remembrance. Perhaps we'll look up at the sky also.

Hello. At the start of a day of errands, waiting in Drs office. So far so good. If everything were to go well, I might be able to suggest shopping for potting soil, irrigation hose, which would be a help.

A bright day, though, so might not be best after dialation.

I was up in the nite; bc sore hip back then back to bed and got up at 4:30 so glad that the
stretches have helped yea! The sky is brighter today sun is just now coming up at 6:30.
Having done my journal stuff it was cozy.
Trash day here I have taken it out to the road.
So glad I got it ready yesterday.

I'm happy that I got new comp note books in my last Amz. order and the "class" uses them
for the assignments. Think cartoon type space to write and draw in a way more fun to do
morning writings! With timed drawings too. Just the change up I needed.

I've been thinking I Need to do a map of my prop. beds and plantings.
It can go in there as well as the garden planner. I updated that this morning also.

Next up bfast & dishes get pan lid out of shed I found in the camp gear tote
I can use it on the new pan that did not have one when I bought it and non were
available at the store either strange.

Hi!

It's pouring rain here, but on and off. Lots of lightning all around us and most of it is over Lake Ontario. The guy doing my tire switchover said he would bring my car back, so I don't think I have to go anywhere today. I do have a full day out planned for tomorrow. It includes lunch with a friend. We go to her favourite "local" mall which is an hour away on the highway going towards Toronto. It's been 4 months since we last got together for lunch.

After the PSW comes and goes, I might just go back to bed and read.

Good morning! DC is deposited at school. Only one class and no play rehearsal today, so I will turn around and do pickup in a little more than half an hour. Noticing flowers blooming: There is something with bigger, whiter flowers than the Bradford pears which has started blooming. Do crabapples come in white? Because crabapples have started, along with redbuds. Some azaleas, but not ours. The violets are peeking out, and the dandelions are in full force. Poor DH. Every day, he goes out and digs up what he can see, and every day there's more. It doesn't help that we have an empty lot across the street. Our crabapple is just about open, and there is rain in the forecast. It seems like just about every year, we get a storm that washes away the blooms on our crabapple just as it's getting nicely started. Anyhow, enough of my nature walk/drive.

Cloudy today; not much sky to see.

Re TV: We mostly watch over-the-air stuff; we have a combination tuner/DVR that we access via app on the Roku. But we also have too many streaming services. We've got our baseball team's service, which is way less than having to pay cable (or dish or fiber) to access sports. We have a Disney/Hulu/HBOMax bundle that we use fairly regularly. But right now, we've also got a Peacock/Apple bundle -- I got it for the Olympics, but there's a show I like on Apple. Once I'm done with it, there goes that bundle. And I'd like to get rid of Amazon Prime, but there's a show on there that the kids watch. DH is a fan of one of the free streaming services -- he could watch Mission: Impossible reruns all day. I'd like to get a better antenna, but it hasn't worked its way to the top of the priority list.

Mt. Dishmore awaits me today. I will have to figure out something for dinner that doesn't make too many dishes, because once I get through these, I will not be in the mood for many more! I wish we'd replace the dishwasher, but, again, it's not on the top of the priority list. Debating whether I can make a dent in it before going to get DC.

Thank you so much for remembering, Twins. Actually, Sunday was the anniversary, but this whole week has had me all in my feelings, you know. Thursday is the anniversary of his funeral. I need to get some new flowers for his grave.

OH MY.
24 hours ago I was in a small hospital room with beeping of medical equipment and unknown test results.
Today I have a new appreciation of being able to do normal life. I can feel my stress level steadily dropping as I get to do these things.
Having my hands in soapy dish water. The mindless acts resulting in squeaking clean dishes. yes. please.
Laundry moving through the washer & dryer? Yes please and thank you
Eating high quality food selected and prepared by me? OH yes!
Tending to the garden and observing the growth and change? Bonus to do it while munching on freshly picked strawberries.
Marking pathway steps (aka cards) complete one by one.
These normal doings make my heart happy.
