Re: Finally Friday PWYC
Nice to see Blessedw2 checking in. OUR weather forecast stated that there were 20 tornado warnings in "Wi/Il/Mo/Ia. " I had to look to see that they meant Wisconsin/Illinois/Minnesota/Iowa. (I think I got them right, please let me know.)

LucyLee - I just ordered these covers to slip over the paper cards that we carry. I just took a look at my Social Security, lifetime fishing & hunting license and retirement card and they could use some protection.
I'm glad you asked about SS card protection because I wasn't paying attention to it.

Cathy, the abbreviation "MO" is for Missouri, which does share borders with Iowa and Illinois, so that could be it.
I've been getting tornado weather reports on my yt feed today, too, but the call signs of the stations reporting begin with "K", which traditionally means the station is located on the other side of the Mississippi river from me, so I've thought it was unusual. I never even know when there are tornadoes closer here, so these must have been significant.
I puttered outside again until dusk, just cleaning out beds, etc.
Concerned because I disturbed a bird from her nest on one side of my large free-standing planter. Sigh. She has 3 eggs. I put her various "cover" back the best I could. What on earth am I supposed to do with this situation??? I certainly can't chance digging. All I can think of is planting a basket and then setting the basket in there in such a way as not to disturb her further. At least "screening" her with flowers there until she sends her brood on their way. But would I dare to water it? Sigh. And when they start peeping, I see nothing to deter a snake. What was she thinking?

Harriet can you get a cat carrier and put the hen in it with a box and mowe her.
I once saw a triangle shaped thing like made from a wood pallet that protects the hen on a next and
keeps predators away and food & water tins can got in as needed.
I saw a warning about tidal wave on the west coast trying to find it again to see if it was today's news or not.
Not today's news.
