I'm home from the morning injection Local), and the afternoon dentist (60 milis away'). He had substantial work to do on my tooth, and sent my home with antibiotics. He had a machine that was like a power washer for the inside of the tooth, to really clean out any infection, residual from the ordinary treatment 2 weeks ago. He indicated that it was a bad infection, but it should heal well now. And bone needs to fill in where the abscess eroded it. That will take about 6 months!
I didn't go to get shoes- in just 14 days, the store is running a 5x points on the credit card. So I can wait that long. These will be walking/ hiking shoes. I got my work boots elsewhere, and am eager to wear them, but havent had a chance yet. And I will be out of town tomorrow.
After half hour ice pack, I have work to do, so better lie down and get the cold pack going.

L.ann, I am relieved. I was worried that she was in the hospital again needing treatment and care.
kittykatt, I just looked at the beautiful Light Sussex chicken. (I missed quite a bit of last week!)
Didn't get everything on my li t done today; need to set out clothes for trip to see dfLD tomorrow
and do my 2 inches on prayer shawl
Then I can go to bed - early? as I have to get up in the morning and be ready to leave by 0900. I can do that!

I'm glad that DD33 is doing so well at the NIH, L.Ann. It can't be easy.

I stayed out doing errands longer than I intended, but needed to get some supplies for my trip. I'm giving my joints a break before I go back down to bring up the rest of the groceries.

Tuesday

Picked up Germane’s food
Gave Germane her heart pill.
Set up the coffee maker
Cleaned up after dog
Washed the main part of the floor
Brought out the small slow cooker
Checked the pork that I took out to thaw for Germane
Prepped carrots and rutabaga for the slow cooker
Germane woke up and peed off the edge of the pee pad and then walked around dribbling.
Second verse: same as the first
Was about to start on the floor. I have my afternoon TV programs on. It’s a live station that I reach through Roku. It lost its connection. This particular station does this a lot.
Tried to switch to the projector. Can’t find the remote
Started connecting directly to the station via my laptop. It brought up the show but without sound.
Disconnected the laptop from the switch box: now I have video and sound
Checked network connection to Roku: good
Restarted Roku
Tested it again: now it’s working. Switched back to Roku and TV
Messaged with dnephew about upcoming trip
Cleaned up after dog
Cleaned that part of the floor
Put on lunch to cook
Scrubbed out sink and basin
Misc tidying
Germane woke up. Treats for her
Showered/washed hair
Scrubbed tub
Gave Germane her Apoquel and Benedryl in cheese
Checked flyer
Gave Germane a saucer from her slow cooker: she likes it
Bagged up garbage
Gave her some more from slow cooker
Brought garbage to basement
Went to pet store
Went to pharmacy
Went to grocery store
Brought up first batch of groceries
Gave Germane a couple of saucers from slow cooker
Cleaned up after dog

Going back to finish reading what I did not get to on Tuesday can cause some real confusion - first I was like "nope, I'd say that the 1990's were better than the 1960's with all that Cold war and stuff", then "oh, she means it's better in your sixties than your nineties, better health and all that", and only then I realized you were talking about the weather!
