Kitkat they are ceramic. Big 12 by 24. Dark chocolate brown. That's what dad hunted down cause he wanted that. They're heavy....

Ds hardly misses much if we miss a week maybe some notes a couple assignments and maybe a quiz. Nothing he can't make up in short order. They build in a lot of catch up time in class.

Well I did a few things.

Fold laundry start next
Add stuff to dw and turn on
Transplant a couple little plants into cute pots.
Water all of them
Sweep everywhere
Added a couple more things to the garage sale stuff

Eating now . Then I should take recycle to the shed and get that tent i want to donate. Put stuff in the car. I know there's more but at least I get that stuff there. I go by the church so I can drop stuff off on the way and find more on the weekend.

The sun is shining, but it's kind of cold to be working outside. With no frost officially forecast at night, but with temps dropping to lower 30s, I don't really want to plant cold sensitive flowers either.
Somehow I feel "called: to mother's house, to vacuum, wash K floor, do some dusting, and take a box or 2 and sort to see if I can straighten up the place before the insurance adjuster comes early next week, to check her roof and many other things damaged by the hail 2 weeks ago. We had a big rain 2 days ago, and I need to check the attic also, to make sure that the temporary patch the roofer put on kept water out.
And maybe put a few spring decorations out because her house likes to be decorated for the seasons. She trained it to require attention....

Hi everyone! I just checked the weather app GMA to see if it was safe to plant. It is still a bit chilly for this time of year but nights are in the 40s so fingers crossed buying annuals isn’t a mistake! If DD33 isn’t busy she tends to just sit around and watch tv and wonder what is to eat for the next meal, KitKat.

I like basa too, Kittykatt. It's a nice mild fish. And just now, I don't know why but it's a lot cheaper than other fish. Like tilapia was ten or fifteen years ago.
WTG on successful cat redistribution to allow for exercise.

LOL, not so much dedication as poor organization skills, kitkat. I set the expectation when I traded treats for successful use of the pee pad, so I shouldn't let myself get down to the last two bites of cooked fish after 10:00 pm.
What to read next is a happy dlimma.

I know that I am the author of my own problems when it comes to packing, helia. The same decision paralysis that leads to clutter, repurposed for packing.
I'm leaving on Saturday. I hope to have everything packed before, except for cold groceries. I have never achieved this before, but making a worthy attempt.

I am up to end of Page 2. I got a slow cooker going for Germane before sitting down to CUOP, and then sat here longer than I can justify. Germane hasn't emerged to get her heart pill and peanut butter yet, so I'm not going to wait for her food-free hour to eat. I'll start breakfast and see if the sound of my rattling around in the kitchen brings her out.

Hello Everyone
Going to try to get going, once again.
Was treated to the fox snoozing beside our garden today. I guess that means the den is nearby. I love seeing the kits, but the neighbour raises many kinds of fowl. So the fox is her enemy

Good news Bama!
I need to get packing too Doggedly We're going skiing on Sunday. We stay in a condo, so need to plan all our food too.
The easy part is the ski stuff. It's always the same. But, once I went to put my skis on and they were the wrong skis! Hubby had loaded them for me and I didn't notice. Now, that's the problem with not getting rid of stuff!

The third book in the Bookwoman of Troublesome Creek “series” was just published last week, Paige. We had tilapia this week Dogged. DD33 and I both wondered why we hadn’t had it more recently because it was delicious.

We learn about life from our mothers, right?
I'm at her house, doing a wee little of going through some of her things. (No wonder I have too much stuff at my house) I just counted 14 coats in the front closet, and 32 jackets in the other coat closet ( by the back door)
We used to kid her, saying she must have been cold as a child .

I'm going to get a step stool and wash the closet shelf, put things on the shelf, gather the 5 pairs of boots together to donate next fall ( yes, we'll definitely still have the house then, and for a few more years after that), vacuum the closet floor, then start on the room. I could take all the plush washable spring, fall jackets and was, dry them, but I think that might wait for another day. I don't want to get too distracted from my mission today.

kitkat, I discovered Martingales when my Labrador Momentum showcased the hilarious technique of dipping his head down and walking backward. He demonstrated this skill in a very crowded dog rescue Christmas fundraiser. We ended up with a leash looped around his neck and flanked by two volunteers to ensure that we made it to the car without my losing control over him again.

I think that students lost a lot when we stopped streaming in high schools. It must be hard for your ds to stay interested when
he can stay away for a week and not miss anything.

I'm kind of where you are with the plants, Gma. It's going to drop below zero C here at night so I don't want to put the plants out before I have to, but they are going outside during my trip so that they can be watered by the rain. Any that are still alive when I come back can come back inside.

I think that I have a bit of your DD33's tendency, L.Ann. Luckily for her, she has you to organize so many interesting activities for her.

I hope that you were able to rent skis on that trip, Paigealle.
Nothing wrong with starting again. You know what they say, it's fine to stop seven times as long as we restart eight. Or something like that.

I'm glad that you enjoyed your tilapia, L.Ann. If you find that its price spikes, try the basa. To me it tastes the same, and it seems to be the "cheap fish" at the moment. But I'm no connoisseur. I still miss rectangle fish that I could put in the microwave and it would come out perfect because all parts were even, LOL.

Gma, you make me feel better about the too-much that I have accumulated. We are not alone in this.

Ah, I see Germane walking around pooping on the specific parts of the floor that I just washed. I'll be back.

So far tilapia is still cheap…. Or cheaper than salmon I also lucked into the fillets we had this week 60% off at Aldis! I got super sidetracked when my daughter called so I never got this posted.

I should do more left over things because I won’t get anything done tomorrow but I am done after this.
