Hello to everyone!!!
Ditto comment that "all is right in the world when Indiana is posting."
(((Harriet & dd))) So sad about the death of student in her school. (((Teachers @ dd's school)))
Again, I'm sorry I'm not posting more, and I just sorta pop in my daily update, but I'm trying to cuop and maybe now that dcousins have left, maybe I can get back into a little tiny bit more of a routine.
I actually have a ta-da for tonight:
Dmom's best friend just called me to check on everyone -- we didn't get to talk @ the funeral, and she had actually just found out that ddad was in the hospital -- and while we talked I dusted the computer room from top to bottom AND cleaned the computer w/a wet wipe. * I was afraid I had torn something up -- accidentally hit the key with the moon on it (sleep?) and couldn't get the monitor to come back on until I had shut down power twice and restarted! But obviously, all is well now. And sooo much cleaner to look at!
Music. DS played "Shall We Gather @ the River" at dfil's funeral. Also played "When You and I Were Young, Maggie," (dfil's favorite song that ds did -- dfil's mother's name was Maggie). He did these as instrumentals and sang & played "When They Ring Those Golden Bells." (((Kathryn)))
Ddad update: No worse, MAYBE slightly better... fever seems a little lower, more stable today. No more gowns & gloves for visitors -- that's definitely an improvement, for us, anyway. I'll go over to see him tomorrow and carry
dmom some meds and misc items from home.
