Good Evening, Villagers!
The TV news was getting to DH and me, so we turned on music after watching baseball news shows. Good idea to get a break from the senseless tragedy.
(((((HUGS)))))
My Ta Da Is:
1- I wrote my BFF a letter with a sympathy card.
2- I sorted the mail and read 3 letters.
3- I put a blanket away.
4- I enjoyed the birds, especially little ones and the Stellar Jays.
5- I prayed for others & myself.
6- I prayed for the CT school shooting victims and they're families of those now deceased and still living.
7- I fixed a soft throw neatly, and laid it across the back of my recliner.
8- I put out hot spots.
9- I examined my yarn "stash".
10- I put a magazine on top of others, on the end table, with other ones.
11- I ate healthy and took supplements.
12- I walked 1/2 hour.
13- I wrote in 2 journals.
14- I put on an apron for "Apron Day"!
15- I put away read letters into an angel chest.
16- I got out ONE crochet project to start tomorrow.
17- I listened to holiday music, while I journal wrote and read on a magazine.
18- DH ran the DW.
19- I looked up a Bible Verse a DF had in her letter.
20- I read The Lord's Prayer and my devotion for today.
21- I cleaned 4 bathroom sinks and 6 counters in various rooms.
22- I wrote in my journal some more.
23- I relaxed and read. I NEEDED that today. Also, after I'd done the housework I did, which isn't everything in the entire house, my FM (fibromyalgia) was causing my body to throb, from working and/or the stress of the shooting, so I knew it was time to "listen to my body" and quit housework for the day and to not overdo and feel worst.
I'm so glad I listened to my body!
Scattered, Is your new job a visiting nurse job where you go into homes, since you get paid for mileage? Just curious.
Elizabeth, Sorry the car won't be ready until Monday. I'm glad it's not a problem.
Kathryn, I'm glad you rested and laid very quiet. It helps, too. How is your knee?
OKay, Oh, your family's coming early! Oh, road test temptations!
It sounds like a very nice SUV, too!
Blessed, What's a 3 season room that got dejunked?
Or did you mean that THREE rooms for the season got dejunked?
That's a lot of work!
Helia, It's great that you and your DH can exercise together.
My DH doesn't do that. So I'm on my own.
Lucylee, Yes, the shooting was very tragic. So sad.
It affects everyone. It makes you think and love your own kids/grandkids even more and want to protect them, too.
Have a nice evening, Everyone!
