This took place in Webster, NY, Blessedw2.

I was just reminded of this quote by LynLee a week & a half ago:
Praying today that I will have a sound approach to the everyday things that I can do today.
Plus I need to do all the normal things to get ready for Christmas Eve and Christmas.

Oh, that is so sad, yes, so devastating for the families who lost loved ones. ((HUGS)) and more prayers for all. I can't imagine why anyone would want to ambush first responders, if that is indeed what happened. . . . .

Dough is in a warm oven rising (I hope). Ds and dfriend have left to go look at apt. bldgs. They won't be able to look at actual apts. until after Cmas. I have cleaned up my roll making mess; in the meantime, lunch happened for everyone else in the household and their messes are still on the kitchen counters. I think dh cleaned up some w/ the help of dd17. . . . .

My dmom told me the potato provided nourishment for the yeast; it is just a little bit of potato.

Next:
-switch laundry
-devo. time if possible before A arrives

I envy your ability to do that, Harriet! So cool!

Trying to get something done and not watch too much of C N N or F O X. But it keeps calling us for updates.

After catching the one roo last night today when it was time to do the deed it got loose from h. I had to help try to catch it unsuccessfully so now we just let it rejoined the flock so we had another turkey breast to smoke, h. is smoking them today sure smells good out side!

I mixed up two batches of cookie dough.
Crab dip is mixed up also.
Time to peel the eggs so I can devil them tomorrow. [They are last of the store eggs.]

Alrighty! LO is now the proud owner of a bike. We let him pick out the one he liked so the surprise factor and need for wrapping is nil. I'm done gift shopping. Everyone else is getting green paper.

Need to run to the local grocery store before it closes. BBL
