Kathryn - I'd wish you luck w 110F heat. Its almost 100f (99f) here atm and it gets to me. Not that I in any way can imagine even -10C far less -40c with windchill.

The sun is still swinging way to the south in the afternoons. Shining in my southern windows in late afternoon.
Need to rehydrate too. And eat. And find some activities that suit.
I think the person who just mowed their yard is keen.

Waving to you all who just get on with things no matter the weather. Impressive.

DS-A, DDIL#2, dgs13, dsgd13 and dgs6 months were here most of the day. What a happy baby and such a joy. Great medicine for all of us. He was usually smiling, laughing or squealing most of the day. Of course it was good to see the all the rest of them too. They're going to Universal tomorrow and then I guess the plan is we're taking ingredients for waffles and bacon to them and making breakfast. DD has a seminar to go to at Disney in the afternoon so will do that. We can come home when we feel like it as we'll probably drive separately. Think dbil/dsil may go too. That surprised me. They were here from about 3 today. Dsonil did barbq ribs. I don't much like ribs but guess they were good.

Quiet here now. Everyone's gone home or back to the hotel. Think I'll hit the hay myself. Will try to cuop tomorrow. Slept very poorly last night and have been awake since 3a.m.

Dgd is here now dgson is with the other grand parents, they just traded here we were gong to met at McDonalds the kids call it uncle d's! LOL!
But the other step grandpa did not like mcds and did not want to do that. So glad we had gotten the stuff dgson would need, that took some planning and thinking ahead.

Dgd is enjoying the change of pace, I could tell that dgson is going to miss the chickens he spent a lot of time out side with them. We have to do the cat chores tonight, process mail. Dinner is done good thing we had soup here for a back up plan.

Dson will be revamping dd p/c so I won't be able to check in from there oh well will be back here for chicken chores in the morning.

I took photos of the eggs yesterday hoping to upload those at some point. Had an ok day not awesome but not awful either.

After the exercising, I got the bed stripped and remade (forgot to do that in my rush this morning to get ready for a 9 a.m. tea party!)

Also cleaned the upstairs bathrooms and changed the towels. I have three loads of laundry lined up for tomorrow.

Came downstairs and worked on the financial report. Got it all redone and pretty but haven't yet finished the minutes.

Dh is practicing the anthem so I'll go do that with him and then bed. The dishes are undone but it won't kill me to leave them until the morning.

Thank you Sunny. I wish I was more like you. I will tell you a secret about Sunny, she is a very caring person and never seems to get ruffled...and the thing I admire most is she is able to keep quiet when things aren't right...something I've been struggling with my whole life! I guess we all have our good and bad points. And for you newcomers here, we are sisters!

Oh, Sunny, I see you are making a trip up north. Why aren't you flying? I thought you decided not to drive all that way again...and not to go in the icy cold weather either? Don't you guys fall up there or come down with anything while you're there.

I got tied up with phone calls, church business. I did get the kitchen cleaned up and dishwasher is running now. DH is irked I haven't been grocery shopping in a while. I don't think he likes me doing all this cleaning, I'm paying less attention to him! Well, I'll do the shopping tomorrow, we do need a bunch of stuff.

And I have to make cookies for the potluck at church tomorrow eve. That should be fun. Goodnight all. I'm off to medicate my sore hands (too much soapy water recently) and go to bed.
