MIni progress made on shirt order. Got the email from shirt shop and sent it to the "pie guy". The Judge will sent his official logo directly to shop to be put on the children shirts. The shirts are for LO and other young ones at church to wear while handing out election flyers at upcoming events - especially the rodeos. The Judge said said his election campaign manager wanted to use the High school dancing girls to do it, but he vetod that and has asked some of the kids that he taught in Sunday school to be his crew.

Re: Furthermore, on Friday
And furthermore... ...
Glad to have completed Desk Day. Had to wait for one DPC because a bill simply hadn't arrived. But the rep was very pleasant and efficient and it turned out to be an easy call. Unfortunately, HRH got yet another bill for that same "remainder" of his hospital procedure bill, for which he had paid in full and therefore gotten that exact amount as a discount. (And had called and gotten it straightened out all over again already.) They were even more insistently demanding that same amount - of the discount - again. Sigh. So he insisted on handling that one himself.
Ahem.
I felt so sorry for that rep, who, to my great relief, was another lady, because if he ever gets a man on the phone over this situation, look out. To add insult to his indignation, he got an automated countdown (on speaker) when he called ... "You are the ninth caller in line" then later "you are the fifth caller in line" then later "you are the first caller in line" and then... .. CLICK! "You are the fifth caller in line"
Oh....my...goodness. Don't you know I had an irate man in my LR. I went out and fed the chickens and they didn't even need it.
And furthermore... ...
errands to keep HRH in business here if I'm gone several days - vitamin store and pet store. I had actually had this thought 10 days ago and did some stock-up errands then, too.
Desk Day frustration - have lost the last stamps I bought at the physical PO. Sigh. Where on earth did I put them? They may be behind a stack of papers, which would hide much larger objects, I'm sure ... ... (ducking and running)

Re: Furthermore, on Friday
I'm home now. Decided not to visit dd. It would be a mistake - I'm too tired and have too much to do. We will get there at some point this weekend, I'm sure.
Our regular wifi router was sufficient to provide wifi to the whole apartment. The problem was the travel router. So we can return more stuff to stores.
I lined the rest of the drawers with black wall paper (leftover from ds's bedroom when he was a kid.) I love using wall paper because it is quick and cheap. It isn't non-slip so on drawers were I don't want the contents to slide around, I do put down non-slip liner. But I should have 2 rolls of that to return to stores because of the wall paper (didn't know I had it until we started clearing out the basement.)
Dh got my kitchen cart assembled and it is perfect! He has to adjust the folding counter the super put in and then that corner of the kitchen will be done. Already, just the cart makes a huge difference in the amount of counter space since it makes a counter to the right of the sink and flows around to my one real piece of counter.
The electric broom continued to clean up things nicely. Yay! I took the expensive, battery powered one back to Costco today since the cheap, wired, one works at 1/3 the cost (and may last longer than dd's battery powered one. She said at the end it wouldn't even do her kitchen before the charge was gone from the battery. And that was just 4.5 years of ownership.
Dh finally noticed the air bed set up in the spare bedroom and was surprised at the room left for my desk, etc.
We found a switched outlet in the office. Unfortunately, we discovered it because dh's phone didn't charge!
That's about all the news. Dh is making a nice dinner for us and we'll watch a short documentary and then get going on the packing.

Re: Furthermore, on Friday
Time to start in on the bathrooms upstairs. I've finished the spare bedroom which I thought was almost done. Needed to put the linens in vacuum bags and then realized the dust ruffle and window topper needed to be removed (and cleaned.) They'll be added to my to-do list in the morning.
Also did the ironing, including my outfit for Sunday.
Tomorrow is lots of laundry and packing, packing, packing.
Twins: I don't know how you managed. And if I recall the kids were away so you didn't have them to make decisions about their stuff.

Re: Furthermore, on Friday
Nancy, That shooting was at Seattle Pacific University, a faith-based college.
On today's news they started talking about the Jewish Federation shootings in Seattle, a few - several years ago. They had "breaking news" on the screen, so naturally I thought it'd happened again! NOPE! They just failed to take off breaking news. I shook, I was that upset that I "assumed" the Jewish Federation had gotten struck again. When it dawned on me, how I'd gotten confused,
I turned ON MUSIC instead of watching anymore news today!
Went to the Dr. today, wrote in J's 'n' C's about it, not a big deal, just keeping an "eye" on things.
We had to drive through town, which has 2 round-a bouts during going-home-from-work traffic, so it slowed us down, but the freeway was at a standstill. We got home around 5:45 p.m. and had left at 3 p.m.
Long day.
It was sunny, gorgeous here today, a doe grazed in our back field this morning, I'd gotten up at 4:40 a.m.
Had a morning nap, 2 cups of coffee, so am tired this evening. It's been a big day.
I started my round, but I messed them up. I started timing my walking and was doing housework while walking, so did 2 sections twice, 1 section once, but the main office, entry way, dining room, eating bar shelves and great room are all dusted. I was happy about that, so now that I've got an Army full of laundry to do, I'll be tackling that. Sheets are drying now.
Have a great evening, Everybody.

Re: Furthermore, on Friday
Cowinkie, thanks for the compliment, but you don't want me anywhere near your papers right now. My brain isn't cooperating. For some weeks it's been "off its rocker" and I had conversation with dr. about it yesterday. I'm having major problems thinking and understanding. I guess I have burnout from recent life events, and major anxiety.
I even bumped a car in the church parking lot last Sunday. I'm trying very very hard to concentrate harder while driving. People seem to come out of nowhere. That big project I put together was the hardest thing I've ever done, and it shouldn't have been that difficult.
Dr. gave me something to try and I got a month's worth, and I'm very skeptical. She also gave me another and when I googled that one found out it was in a class I never want to go near, so that'll sit unused unless I'm desperate.
Someone stole my ability to cope. I feel as if I have someone else's brain in my head. Sheesh.
Ah, too bad about the school. I'm glad they caught that guy.
OKay, great! that you found your boots! Were they ON your desk?
I am in the midst of changing clothes from one dresser to another and stuff from one closet to another. Trying to decide if I want to give away the play pen and highchair. I'm definitely giving away the umbrella stroller. I got this stuff for grandkids, but 2 families don't use these if here and 1 family might but never come...and I'm tired of storing them. Also have a crib I'd like to get rid of. A couple more years for that and it's out the door. Can't wait.
Oh I wanted to say it's great! our Canada Couple will have wifi in their new apartment.

Thanks Harmony - we think it is great too. Hoping we get better phone reception, though, I was on a call with dd and she rated it as poor. When I called dh, I felt the same way. She was as clear as a bell, though and is using the same phone system so I'm thinking it was because it was going through my cell phone.
Guest bathroom is done. Didn't take long because I had been working on things.
Next challenge is my bathroom which is a bit bigger project. Need another box for that. Need to start another giveaway pile upstairs, as well. Keep finding odds and sods that I don't want.
We are having bedtime snacks at the moment and then heading to bed. Tomorrow will be a big push. I also have to write the prayers of the people but the rest of the service is done.

Re: Furthermore, on Friday
The sheets got dried, we made the bed, I'm washing jeans now, 1 pr. of wood-getting jeans were dirty so I had to spray them. After that, I've got dark laundry to wash, then some pastel/colors to do, some underwear/socks/whites, and towels. I ran the DW this a.m., too. DH usually does that because I don't seem to squish dishes in together are daringly as he.
I got 3 letters today, all 3 were nice ones, they are all 3, fairly new gals, very sweet, and they live in very interesting places: AL, RI, AK.
Have a great evening, Everyone, and Furthermore, I feel like I've finally gotten my "groove" back. Have an awesome weekend, too!
