Well, I cannot say I have gotten everything done on the list. In fact, only 3 items are done: file UI, resume to email contact, and other job search activities. I am about to go to the post office and use their scale to weigh the state fair jacket. This is to determine how much yarn I used. Then, I will return library books, get dinner, and find thread. I must get the pictures of the projects for the state fair tonight, I have to turn them in tomorrow. (I get them back, of course). I tried to study Perl, but the online courses HAVE LOST ALL MY INFO!!! Their web page indicates that numerous people have had problems, so I don't feel as bad. My car is still at the spa and will cost me $1177 YIKES!!! Do I need this? I will have put close to 2k into this vehicle within 2 months. However, it is still cheaper than buying a new car. And even if I was wealthy, they don't make Taurus wagons anymore, so it has to last forever.

Here is an amusing DD12 story. Of course, she was DD7 or 8 at the time.
The family gathering was at Disney World and she and her cousin had princess* dresses. The man taking tickets at the gate addressed them as princess, and when I am forward, he called me princess too. DD said, dead serious, "Oh no, Mom's the queen. She outranks princesses."

*DD's dress was not actually a princess dress, because she would not be caught dead in one. All the family knew to call it her "fancy dress". The colors were specifically chosen NOT to match ANY Disney princess. Interestingly enough, my current sewing project is the Princess Anna ballgown (Frozen) for her Halloween costume.

How wonderful to be sewing a princess dress for a little girl!!! Have fun, Elizabeth.

I neglected to say happy news for Twins' Mom and Macs.

i am absentminded and off-track today, which started yesterday. Preoccupied. A lot is getting past me. This morning dd snapped her fingers in front of my eyes.

Dd has had a happy time at after-school clubs this week. She is vice-pres of one now, which made her feel as though she really belonged.

It is 1:30 am Friday here, but since I haven't gone to bed yet, it's still Thursday to me. I finished my errands, but have not done any sewing work. I have done me care, but still have cat care to go. William is done with his meds, but Pikachu and Charmander's test results came in and they have new meds along with the old ones! Bolita still has her meds as well.

In other news, if you want to see some eye candy, check out my posts in Arts Crafts & Needlework. I have posted my state fair entries, which I will be turning in tomorrow.

Tomorrow includes: morning cat meds, deliver state fair items, geek girls lunch, cathouse volunteer work, possible phone interview, more cat meds. And some sewing, must get some sewing done. Other stuff as well.

Gotta go, kittens need their meds. Good night.
