Hmmmm.

Since it was duly moved, I've made the adjustment to my tracker.

Still not sure what's going on, though. When one of the Ottawa group left his tracker at home the day he went for a 17 km walk, he knew how many miles it was (because he was walking with someone who had a tracker on) but no-one commented that he could add the steps back into the system.

So now I'm back up to where I belong.

I'm still on the treadmill, though, cuz I'm still angry with the world.

My tablet was plugged in for 6 hours and managed to go from 37% charge to 65% charge. Nothing was supposed to running on it (I noted although it was plugged in, it went from 41% charge to 37% charge while I was playing scrabble so made sure all background tasks were stopped - a new feature of Lollipop.) So, it seems my battery life is badly affected by something to do with the upgrade to the operating system. As I said earlier today, most days I got through about 40% of the battery. It is either the upgrade or coincidentally, my charger stopped working today. We have gone through 3 chargers since the move so it might be that, the uneven power in the apartment seems to be frying things, although all the chargers are plugged into either UPSs or at least power bars.

Dinner is done. Dh did the cleanup although I said I would do it since he cooked. Not sure why he insisted on doing that, if it was to help, it didn't help since I wanted to feel like I had at least done something today. Now I just feel like I didn't get into the kitchen fast enough after dinner (I chose to watch another tv show after we finished watching Liiihammer) and he got tired of waiting for me to do it and took over the task because he figured I wouldn't do it. (BTW: it isn't as if I waited until 10, it was just 40 minutes after we finished dinner.)

Quick C. I. The police apprehended the so-called bomb suspect after all. This is good. There was no bomb in the car; just a scare tactic and hoax, but it scared plenty of people.

I'm getting a 90-minute Conga done, today/tonight. I only have 20 minutes to go, before I have 90-minutes total. Did some heavy lifting, my back aches now, but I "knew-better" is the mentality I had. I know back stretches and exercises, so it'll be a quick recovery. It's not that bad, IMHO.

I'm slowly getting together, a large box, for Ddil to have some paper crafting supplies and scrap booking supplies. It'll be nice to be able to decrease my numerous quantities of papers, rubber stamps, etc... I've done rubber stamping, for several years, but since 2005, when I started writing, I never did that much. I sometimes make cards and work on my 1st scrap book, so I'll keep some supplies back for me. Ddil is also getting a die-cutting machine, from me. I've only used it 1 time, when Ddil was scrap booking at our home with me, and SHE'S the one who ran it- because I was too scared, didn't "understand" how to do it, and she took to it like a duck to water. I've got numerous stacks of background papers, card stock, decorative scissors, construction papers, colored papers, and more. I'll sort through my scrap booking magazines, too, so Ddil will have more ideas to "tweak" her imagination. She amazes me! She has 6 sons & 1 DD, 3 are age 2 - 6, and she still can take time, to make cards for others! She told me once, she works after the little ones are in bed or are down for naps. It's a real lesson, to me, or anyone, how if you want to do something strong enough, you make time for it, in your hectic schedule and "JUST DO IT"! I can think of no other person I know, who deserves the treat of a huge box full of nice quality craft supplies, too. I also got out 1 pkg. of 2-scrapbooks in it, still wrapped in plastic. I'll keep the 2, which are not wrapped. This is going to be so much fun, surprising her like this.

I'd better run. We're going to have dinner soon. I need to get in my last 20-minutes on my Conga, too. I also do a Conga on Mondays, after the weekend.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone.
Definitely agree that public schools can be just as good as private schools... Sometimes people do just post things to try to get a reaction -- or impress someone -- so who knows what her motivation is?
Also -- blessed -- please don't feel guilty re your duncle! Dd has to be your first priority and anyone who cares about you at all will realize that.

Don't make the mistake of confusing burdens with blessings.

She was talking about how there was a time when sometimes she dreaded making that nursing home visit to her mother, and how (now) she'd give anything to do it again.
I certainly needed that after dmom told me the same story 3 times today, and announced that she wants to go to singing with us Sunday, maybe.


Oh well.
