We're I'm glad my frustrating can be inspirational. I didn't clean anything. Needs it again for sure. Just dumped a few gross things. I get so frustrating because we often end up with rice or noodles leftover and nothing to go with it for lunch. Ds15 is unlike his brother. Ds26 ate a regular meal. Ds 15 feels like he eats enough that we cook what we would have made for all 5 and all of it is gone. He has a bottomless pit. I am severely struggling with either way too much we don't eat or nothing lunch worthy.

Now I'm trying to convince myself that I want a walk. In the dark of winter work days Casper would come in nicely and not always beg for a walk. Now it's light and he figures every night is walk night

And figure out supper. And well no I don't think I can paint. Maybe tomorrow morning and then afternoon?

We can all relate with the sentiment to avoid the kitchen, L.Ann.

laurlind, one of my favourite workday lunches is leftover rice with frozen vegetables, some butter and soya sauce. Sometimes, I would add precooked meatballs so some cheese. If I was taking it to the office, I would just put the frozen things in the container with the rice and by lunch time they would be thawed out and ready to cook them at the same time. If all else fails, it's a good fallback.
I am hoping for a peaceful evening meal.

Doggedly maybe I'll have to buy some frozen meatballs. I usually make them from scratch. I love rice and vegetables but I need some sort of meat in it for protein.

Phew I did go for a shorter walk. He was determined to go a different way so we could go part way up there and back again. But right through the water a couple times.

I think tonight's goal is to work on my blanket. I think I have less than 10 rows and that one will be done.

Dad called. I'll try and fit in a visit for a few minutes tomorrow between bible study and my paint project.


The roses that make rosehip are here too. I think that is a wild rose. Unless a planted one does that too. I have a very northern rose bush. It's likely going to grow back again unless dh just mows it off again.

laurlind, isn't it hilarious to think of people risking being stabbed by the thorns of ungrateful cultivated roses while other people are running their lawn mowers over wild roses saying "Why won't you die?"
I hope that my favourite lunch helps to take some pressure off of you in your busy day.
I wish that I could pass some of my sauce on to you. It came out well.

Cleaned up after dug
Scrubbed out sink and basin
Washed small slow cooker
Washed dishes
Washed accessible surfaces
Put big slow cooker in to soak
Filled slow cooker and started it
Did some physio exercises
Scrubbed out big slow cooker
Looked for recipes for mug cake
Made one
Finished filling dw
Ran it
Gave the dishes a wipe down before the drying cycle

Even if that dw only washed cutlery and dog dishes, it would be worth the price for the joy that it gives me not have to wash them. This load was almost all cutlery, and a few plastic dishes that I had given Germane her food in.
