I am not a criminal mastermind. Germane was perfectly aware that I was trying to sneak out without her and chose to come to the basement with me. I wouldn't mind, except that there are a few stairs up to the locker room, which are a lot more difficult without my cane. No problem. We found a space for the boxes and are finished with stairs for today.
I have sent off an email to the front office about the smoke detector in the locker room, and I think that I am done for the night. See you tomorrow!
