You are doing great, L.Ann
I had a laugh picturing your dcats helping you to do a jigsaw, Kittykatt. I'm glad that you were able to get so much done in your garden. I have to confess to a certain sympathy with your dh's views on taking Freddie to the vet, LOL.
It's a fun show, helia, because it's not too gritty. And it's always fun to watch Rex.

(((LAnn))), I see you are in a trying time right now.

Washed dishes.
Scrubbed out sink and basin
Fished out the handwashing gadget
Started laundry soaking
Set up the small drying rack
Pecked away at finances
Emptied out another bag
Rinsed/drained/started wash soaking with detergent
Rinsed load
Put half load through spin cycle and held it on the counter
Hung the laundry
Started a new load on soak
Put away contents of another bag
Drained it; started it on wash cycle
On the rinse cycle, the washing gadget pitched forward and dumped the laundry and most of the water on the floor. Luckily, it was less than a bucket of water that you would use to wash the floor. It took all available towels, a couple of pee pads and a bunch of paper towels, but the kitchen floor looks pretty clean now.
Rinsed the wash under the tap, used the gadget for the spin cycle and hung the laundry.
Mini grooming session for Germane.
I'm pretty much done for the night. I'm not thrilled that I have a load of laundry to do that can't wait past tomorrow, but it could have been so much worse. No damage to the apartment, and the floor is clean.
WTG on that list of Ta Das, Bama.
WTG on getting through all of those texts and vegetables, helia. I'll be interested to hear your take on the show.
Have a good night, all.

Good night Dogged. Hope your vacation went well and you’re all rested up for the next one.
Helia, no more headache thanks, I think it was from the burning groceries, it was hard to get rid of that smell.
I’ll have to check for that show too. I caught an episode of NCIS Toronto and was surprised at no accents. I don’t know what I expected but it was similar to the other versions of the show. I don’t even know how it came to be on my tv but I was lucky to catch it. It’s hard to find something to wind down to with dh for an hour or two before he goes to bed.

I’m pretty much done but waiting on covers so I don’t leave the furniture unprotected at night. You know what they say about fool me once…well I’ve trusted these cats way too many times and gotten burnt lol.
I’ll try to catch up some now. (:

Hi all. Ohh my it looks like a busy day here. Bama I am so glad you are ok i bet that smell and smoke did the headache. So scary.
Lann oh no. I am glad you caught it early too. Yes you will need some recovery time. Good timing on school for little bit.
And I read gma is having some challenges and bringing mom home? Very thankful there is hospice help.
Kittykat yeah I probably would have to think about those vet trips as well.
Helian I haven't done jigsaw for a long time. Too many cats here too.
Hi Paige.
Anyways I will back in the morning to make some progress.

Laura, I totally relate to the cat remark, no puzzles, no flowers, no plants, no breakables, and on and on and on…
I’ve caught up with skimming and now it’s all a jumble.
Helia I’m glad you found the quilt.
Kitty, the wire exposed sounds scary. Dh was an electrician and wired his parents house, exposed wires and all, so I don’t let him touch a thing here. I don’t even tell him if I don’t have to.
Laura, scarecrows and sunshine sound like a nice weekend.
Gma and mom, I hope you find a solution that works without loading you with more responsibility.
Paige, nice to see you here!
LAnn, more hugs as you deal with this.
Doggedly, what a rude washer.
French, doubt you’ll see this as it’s during your work week but nice to see you as we pass each other.
Trissie, not sure I’d want to read a book about ai, that’s something that only existed in movie plots growing up so I don’t want to acknowledge it’s here, albeit with links to work out. Ai videos are getting very realistic.
Hi to Peaches.
Waving to anyone I might have missed. See ya tomorrow.
For now I’m going to eat an apple while I wait on the laundry.
