Helia, the blanket is beautiful! I'm sure DS and F will be thrilled with it. Yes, I'm planning to make my Chri fruit cake this week, probably starting on Thirsday/ Friday with soak the dried fruit, and the actual bakingnon Frid or Saturday.


I'm in bed now. I still have to post today's achievements and my list for the week before I turn out the light.

Think about setting up Guardianship for F,J and M - looked on Cats' Protection, I need their microchip numbers, approximate DOB, colour and markings and useful information about them. Bookmark link with local recommended solicitors (also ask DF CW?)
Change health centres to the one nearest us? On hold ATM , but I'll leave it on my list so I don't forget.

The crowd will split with half staying with me and half staying with DD39. They are only here for a hot minute. I tried to talk them into between Christmas and New Years but with my surgery and initial diagnosis they really wanted to see me. The when is tricky helian. My son I. Law is a commercial pilot so they are hoping to come on some stand by type of deal on Tuesday. If that doesn’t pan out they are coming on Wednesday on tickets that they do have. They are leaving Saturday so it is a very quick visit. We are hoping for Wednesday hanging at my house, Thursday at DD39’s for Thanksgiving and the Friday will be Black Friday shopping, family pictures and a trip to ICE and dinner out.

Lovely yarn, helia, and lovely color, too. I had a friend who was an impeccable knitter. But she would always work some "error" into what she was doing, because then it would be known that it was handmade, because only God is perfect. So you can let it be, and be proud of its beauty.
