I have another one. We have to make mention of Harriet's DD13. I think she should be Kami Cotler, who played Elizabeth on the Waltons. Everytime I watch that show I think of her.

I've watered the front and neighbor's roses on our property line as she's on va. gotten a bit of TV viewing in new fav. show traveling Ireland going to farmer's mkts. and traveling I"m surprised how much they are like ours here in the US. Then watched knit and crochet now. This is quite my best 24 hrs. for TV last night was Dallas, and on the sports ch. is one about a foot ball team I forget the name of oh yes it just came to me "Friday night lights".
It's up to 87* out side now. I see the neighbors took two of their dogs with them I'm thinking it's too hot for walking a dog outside now maybe they have a plan to go to the river or some thing.
Some one mentioned about the roles played; Jan. Jones had a baby irl; but thyroid was the reason for the wt. gain in her role on Mad Men.

Absolutely, Harmony! I would surely think of someone like that to play Harriet's DD13. Love that girl (DD13 that is). Just asked dh who he would think to play me -he can't think of anyone either. Ironing done.
Movie half completed. It's good, but since I already know what's going to happen, I'm mostly watching for comparison to book... and there are differences, but they don't make it worse or better, just little details. Like in the book, I'm pretty sure she has two little brothers; in the movie, sister & brother.
Cowinkie -- I think I may have to wait until I retire to write our screenplay.
This summer's going to be kinda busy.

I think Katherine Heigl could be Dee; she's been in Grey's Anotomny and a movie baking cupcakes.

Hello, villagers ~
No sewing yet. Ready to start after supper.
I have not slept well the past 2 nights. We're still in a heat wave, although today was cooler than yesterday. The window a/c in the bedroom has made the room comfortable enough. I just sometimes go though stages of not sleeping. I end up getting up so I don't wake DH with my tossing and turning.
So in the heat I can't do too much energetic cleaning, but I've been able to do desk work and mosey around the kitchen. Have also done laundry in turtle mode.
Today working in small bits of time (between sitting down with a glass of ice water) I finally finally FINALLY was able to make my Big Switch in the kitchen. The goal was to create an empty horizontal surface with good light and a chair to be able to sort papers. We all know the value of a good decluttering station.
I needed to declutter a bunch of stuff and switch around which built-in cabinets stored what, and trade places between a portable cabinet and a small table. The final switcheroo required the right combination of a long enough block of time, low enough pain level, and nothing else on the list with higher priority.
It's done now and looks nice and comfortable.
I'll be able to sit there in the mornings with my water or coffee mug, to process mail and purge files. From there I can look out at the deck and back yard where the outdoors cats play.
I'm cooking supper now, and this evening I can sew.
Must go read all of today's pages to see what y'all have been doing while I've been pushing furniture.

At supper tonight, I was regaling DH with everyone's actress choices. (He heard it all last night too). He says we are having way too much fun with this. Thank you all for entertaining me so well the last few days!
Installer came and measured for new door. DD called to chat. (She's a sweetheart if I do say so myself!) I "ran" the swiffer today. What a great invention--although, I guess a dust mop is kind of the same thing. I use microfiber cloths, so I don't have to buy the expensive disposable cloths.
Well, I think we'll venture out into the heat to take a walk now.

Oh, you've been having a lot of fun casting The Village! 
Well ... I look like Dawn French in The Vicar of Dibley (British sitcom), but I am not nearly as funny as she is, nor do I have her delightful accent.
However, between my theatre & library jobs and large families, I have had to deal with a colorful variety of characters the way she does in that show.
