Hello again folks! I have done everything on the list I posted earlier. I corrected two already posted resumes and have two more to do (tomorrow). Now I am going to relax and crochet. I have GOT to get more time to spend on the job search. Yuck. I also managed to get something to eat, which was not on the list, but should have been.
The newest foster cat just ventured out of the sewing room, she wants to be around me and maybe two of the other cats. However, one of the other fosters intimidated her back into the sewing room. No hisses or growls, just staring. This foster is very unassertive.

Bills are paid. Big disaster, I don't want to think about but hopefully I minimized the financial consequences.
Started to update quicken but there's too much to do so I sorted the chits and have packed them in my computer bag to do while at the hotel.
Started the house shut-down list and have got as far as I can tonight.
It would have made sense to start the laundry BEFORE all of the above instead of 30 minutes ago. But it is on the final spin now.
Off to get ready for bed now. Late. I'll probably end up sleeping on the plane instead of doing any work on the devotions!

DS is working on thank you notes!!!
I have addressed almost all of them for him, and given him some ideas of what to say, and he has started writing the ones to friends who are mostly his friends/family. (I got the idea that ddil would pick up with the ones that neither of them feel especially close or connected to.) She is at work tonight; dgs is sleeping in his basinette here, and ds and I have been sitting in the floor writing.
Surely if they are all addressed, between the two of them, ds & ddil can finish writing the notes!

Helia, I copied the addy to give to DD1 as she has one gifted son and 1 almost gifted son. I taught them some basics of music notes on the piano and a simple song and the smarter son learned it twice as fast. I could just tell. I don't know how she talks to them, but this might be interesting.
So, I got the day completed, everyone fed, everything (almost) cleaned up. I'm calling that a success. I had a nap this afternoon, but as usual, it felt really good to sleep, but I woke up with that weak woozy feeling. I haven't felt that since I started down this path. 4 1/2 more days to go.

Harmony, I have to tell you how much I admire you for being able to take care of dgd for as many days as you are committed to. Especially since you are dealing with health issues. It is really an accomplishment.
dh will be coming home tomorrow. It is suppose to be in the 20's so he won't start out until it warms up some. But he said he would leave by 11 at the latest because he wants to be home before dark. It is suppose to be really windy tomorrow. He hates to ride in high winds and it is dangerous, but he really doesn't have a choice.
Last night I slept terribly. Every sound woke me up and I am a heavy sleeper. Then I was having a dream and I somehow IRL swallowed wrong and woke up, choking. I have spent many nights alone while dh worked shiftwork and in Feb. it will be 10 years since he went to all days. Back then I had no problem with it but now I do. It doesn't help with the diabetes, there is no one here if I have a problem. I try to be extra careful with what I eat and how much insulin I use and if I am using the right one, since I use 2 different insulins a day. 3 shots are fast acting and 1 at night is long acting.
Dgd16 has her sonogram in the morning to see if she has gall stones.
Guess I better quit babbling and head to bed.

Dd2 had a better day today. There is an older woman who came in for the 2nd time. She comes via the handicap bus. Dd2 just loves this lady and wants to adopt her for Christmas. Both times the lady has came in she has bought a coffee and then later a gelato. Dd2 says that this lady is so happy and relaxed while working on her project. Dd2 said that both times she has been in, dd2 has thought "this is why I started this business". Last week the lady painted a gift for a friend. Dd2 delivered it to the friend for her. This week she painted a bowl for her cats food. Dd2 will deliver it to her when it is done. Dd1 happened to go in for gelato while the lady was there. She knows the lady and they were able to visit. The lady told dd1 that she just loves her sister and having a place to come and paint.
So far I haven't painted anything but I love to look at all the pieces after they have been fired. She has had some really creative and talented people come thru there. Everyone is always happy with their pieces and say they will be back. Dd2 just needs to be patient.
