That sounds interesting. Hum...
Although I have a decluttering method that is working well for me right now, so maybe I need to stick with it until it stops working. Each day without much thought I grab 3-4 items to get rid of and put them in the collection place. I do not make a decision about getting rid of them until tomorrow. All day I see them and consider their fate. 99.9% of the time I decide to declutter them. Waiting 24 hours lowers the stress of the decision and breaks my attachment to the items. By the next day I am so over thinking about the items and am ready for them to be gone!
There are faster ways to declutter but I get overwhelmed & stressed when doing those ways. I have 50+ years of STUFF to go through so the number of decisions seems incalculable. However, I can see progress made using this consistent & no stress declutter method so I remain hopeful.

Has anyone seen a small bottle of dish detergent?
This is the second time it has disappeared recent. I have looked everywhere without finding either bottle. I am fairly sure that DH has put them somewhere, but he doesn't remember either. I spent about 10 minutes looking for them before deciding it is easier and less stressful to run to $ store and buy another bottle. SOME DAY I expect to find the missing dish soap bottles stuck safely away in random spots. I will smile when that moment happens.
DH has started prescription for UTI so hopefully his thinking will improve a bit in the next 24 hours.

Should I listen to AI personal trainer? Hum....I don't feel bad and have abundance of energy, but it has been telling me for several days that I need to take a rest day. It has stats from my personal data that it is quoting for the reason. My heart rate is higher than normal and my readiness score is low. This is the 3rd day in a row that AI says "you need to focus on a complete rest day." I have been ignoring it but might listen to it today. This is a day without anything on the calendar it seems like a good time to take a rest day. As much as a rest day as possible while monitoring DH and teenagers.
I'm starting the day on page 73 of my current book. I wonder how much I can relax, rest and read today?

I have slept in a bit was up an hr. later up at 4:30 .
QT journal planner routines happened.
walked at daybreak.
Had bfast. Rraked up some leaves and twigs in the sun to warm up.
Did food Rx log.
Sipping tea now.

Waiting for the sun to show up in the back yard so I can do the last
batch of tulip moving & digging and replanting.

Finished 2nd dish cloth last evening.

I did not expect those vaccinations to knock me for a loop. I was so cold last night night at bedtime, and I know now that I was probably having some chills. My temp was 101.5 this a.m. at seven-thirty. I did not expect that. I've never had that much of a reaction to a vaccination. I took ibuprofen then and and temp is down to 99.5 now. I also have a headache.

I'm using the tools I have available. Urban areas have delivery available. Living in rural area means we don't have that option, however I do have a teenage driver available. I've sent my order for Subway (two towns away) to DS18 because I'm trying to do less and rest today. DS18 has agreed to be our shopper & delivery person when he gets off work at noon today. His "payment" is whatever the teens want to order and eat.

So sorry to hear your vaccines have knocked you back, Twins!

I need to try to remember to do tulips this fall, Nancy. Of course, it would mean deputizing DH or the kids; I can't get that close to the ground.

I don't suppose you could buy a case of little bottles and stash them away somewhere, LadyM? Of course, when they sell things by the case, it's usually the giant economy size.

Waving back at you from my newly trimmed hedge, blessed! (DH's hand has healed*, and he got himself a new, hopefully safer, hedge trimmer.) *If I haven't mentioned, DH sliced through his fingernail with the old hedge trimmer maybe 3 weeks ago.

Going to play games with friends tomorrow. No real plans for today. Was going to hit the ground running but slept in instead. It's cloudy but not raining. Occasionally, I'll think I'm hearing thunder, but it's just the Blue Angels at the air show. Anyway, part of me wants to rev myself up, and part of me thinks it might be a good day to redo my cards. Whatever I do, I need to go downstairs and put the wash in the dryer before it gets stinky.

Check level in cistern (done)
Go to the bank, deposit my cheque and pay utilities. (Done)
Get gas in the truck (Done)
Go to Best Buy and ask about phones, phone cases and prices. (Done)
Call brother and tell him which model of phone I want and text him picture of phone case. (Done)
Walmart on a Saturday of a long weekend... (done)
Bring it home and put it all away (Done)

Go pick up dh's prescriptions

Cut the front yard (Later.... done)

There is more but I need to get the grass cut.

I took another nap, a couple of hours maybe? i think we had some rain while I was sleeping, I think I heard it unless it was a fever dream, lol. There was also a roll of thunder once.

I'm wound up about the current HOA controversy. Some of our sidewalks have pushed up, probably from the nearby maple trees. One in particular has tried to get the HOA to fix it - and it's not our place. Under the bylaws, the area where the trees are is common property but not sidewalk. And city law says it's the responsibility of the homeowner. Anyway, he had a contractor come, assess all the sidewalks and got an estimate. Then sent an email - that sounds like an assessment - with a list and amounts for each affected homeowner. And he directs them to pay the HOA, who will execute the contract, oversee the work, and pay the contractor.

Anyway, it sounds like an official directive and people are confused, of course, and as a board we haven't agreed to anything. I think this couple is pretty pushy to do this.
