Woke up in a panic about the move and Christmas. Luckily I decided to get up because my bs was 52.

Nancy, I have had this refrigerator roll recipe for about 39 years. You roll the dough out and make crescent rolls. Dd2, dgd15 and dgs17 look forward to them every year. For some reason, I only make them for Thanksgiving.

I washed my hair last night so I can color it this morning. It needs done in the worst way or I would have waited.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Good morning, Lilac. Happy Thanksgiving to you and to all of you in this village. Know it's not Thanksgiving day in Canada, but we are thankful for all"she's" no matter where you are on this globe.

I spent yesterday feeling 'just' under the weather. Not sure how today's faring. Know my neck is hurting and that's been one of my main symptoms -that and general achiness & tummy not quite right. Going to Dsis of DSisIL this afternoon. She's just been declared in 'remission' from her lymphatic cancer and wanted to make Turkey dinner today. Just hoping she's not biting off more than she can chew. (Her dh -way too young- passed away from a fall/colon cancer in the spring.) They're both several years younger than we are. This is probably good for her and helpful to get through the holiday.

Suppose I'd best get out there and meet/greet the rest of the family. DD, DSIL and dgd are going to Flagler Beach today and stay through Sunday. We'll be off to the Gulf by the time they get back. I'm not really looking forward to this trip this year and am already trying to figure how to 'get out of it' next year. :? Seems like so much negativity has come up in the past few years and our time together is not exactly enjoyable for us. Then there's always the issue of cigarette smoke for me. Oh well, this too shall pass.

It certainly isn't Thanksgiving here but Canadians are happy for their neighbours getting to celebrate a day with family and traditions.

Here's what I worked out to this morning, Gene Simmons saluting part of what makes America great:

Many years ago today became our Christmas shopping day because we knew our business phone won't be ringing. This year I have no list ready but we'll be off to get our hair cuts and some errands in the city.

I'm up late but on the treadmill still because I had pizza last night and the diner on Sunday. In theory, today is the chip wagon but I'll have to skip it. My jaw is acting up as well so that will be an additional reason.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I am working my cards this morning to make sure I don't leave anything out. My mind is on cooking and not on routinely things so I am THANKFUL to have cards so I don't have to think so much. :)

Exercise is done and I'm s2s. Ate breakfast too.

I'm heading out in an hour so I need to get some zone work done before I go. I think I have my errand list together so I can make the most of the day. Black Friday has extended to Canada and so there's no point doing the gift shopping today, tomorrow has big sales.

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I'm thankful for all my family and friends and especially everyone in our Village here.

We're watching Macy's parade while doing a few routines. We'll be getting ready to leave to visit dfam#1 in a little while. Ds is at work till 1 pm and I don't want to get there much before him. Dinner will be around 3 o'clock.

Had a phone call from ds#2 and a text from a vdfamily friend. I will talk to our youngest ds and his family later. Also want to call my dcousin and dsis.

Enjoy your day everyone!

Well, DD & family are on their way to Flagler Beach. We'll leave in about an hour for Thanksgiving festivities. Trying to plan (ahead) for my eating today. Slept very poorly last night and I'm not sure if I ate too much of something -though my weight is slowly going in a downward direction- or what the story was. Also woke with 2 very itchy mosquito bites (or something). That's one thing I hate down here. Even saw the 'mosquito spray truck' go by a couple of nights ago. There is a swamp not too far away and I'm sure that keeps them mulitplying nearby. Can't really see the swamp but know it's out there. DD actually has a very large yard and then there's pastureland before the trees start, but you can tell......

Nice and quiet here now. Dlab is sulking because she didn't get to go.

Have to be at church at 9am tomorrow to do the bulletin for Sunday -just hoping I don't forget to do anything. It's been a long time since I was responsible for the bulletin....but good practice for me. Of course dbil/dsil don't understand why I still have any responsibilities -especially down here.

Guess I'll get out dh's clothes for today. It's a bit cooler than I'd anticipated so may re-think my own attire.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I am thankful to be here. There was a 90% chance I wasn't going to be here the night I was dying.

Dinner is cooked and will be delivered sometime before 1 pm.
