I woke up this morning feeling WONDERFUL! Breathing easily and no aches. I declare myself finally rid of that yucky virus! I am ready to jump back into my normal schedule.

Harriet - LO grandparents are DH and I. :D Did you mean LO's Great Grandparents? They are hanging in there. They have an amazing positive attitude and just keep-on-keeping-on. However it can't be denied that there is always a mini-crisis to be dealt with. DDad is getting weaker and using a wheel chair more and more. He frequently has what they refer to as "melt-downs" which means he can't catch his breath to the point just before passing out.....which results in bowels spontaneously emptying. TMI? Each of these spells take an hour or so to clean up and more time to physically/mentally recover from it. DDad takes 8 treatments a day with each treatment taking about 30 minutes to complete and there needs to be 1-2 hours between treatments....so they live by a schedule to be sure to get all 8 treatments in each day. DMom parkinsonism symptoms are increasing and she is becoming more unsteady on her feet. She fell again yesterday and suspects she maybe broke something (collar bone?) but isn't willing to go to doctor yet. I asked twice yesterday but she is firm on not going to doctor yet. So we talk about our spring garden plans ...... and smile....and laugh....and enjoy sharing beautiful sunrise/sunsets....and am thankful to have another day with each other in it. This is waaaay more information than you asked for, but now that i wrote it I think I will go ahead and post it. I appreciate you thinking of The Greats and asking about them.

I have a stack of medical paperwork to fill out. WHY do they keep asking the same things over and over? Seven pages of questions. SHEEZ! Today is colonscope consult with doc. I will ask the doctor about doing this procedure so soon after having virus but I would like to get it over with if possible. I reschedule this appt from last month when we were going through DBro final days. Hopefully the actual procedure will be next week and I will be fully recovered by then.

I'm feeling good about my progress this morning. Just following my cards and the time slot they are assigned to. I have finished 29 cards and am on schedule.....although i have a slew of cards that are not finished due to reduced activity while recovering. The good thing about using cards is their status is noted and they patiently wait for me to get to them. :D

You amaze me, Okay, at how much you get done even with so much going on around you!

I just checked Med Co and evidently we're back to square one!!!  Will try again with my 'trusty' supervisor. Thought a lot had been straightened out yesterday, but obviously NOT! I'm going to be down to the bare bottom before too long -good thing I have some meds ahead. :|

DD took DSIL to urgent care last night. He ended up with a severe sinus and ear infection. No wonder he's been so tipsy. He's on an antibiotic and a letter that he's not to return to work until Monday. Things have been really rough at work for him (through the 'big' boss) so it could be a good time for him to be out.

Have to stay here today as the guy's coming with the oven parts -yay an oven again (we hope). And the water filter company is coming. We're not even doing dishes right now, waiting for the water to be fixed.

DGD's behavior analyst is coming this evening. He's wanting dd to 'provoke' her so he can possibly see her in action. I don't have a very good feeling about all this. Know dd was taking her computer away today because she didn't get off last night when she was supposed to, but instead offered some 'smart' (or probably not so smart) remarks when she was told it was time for her to shut down and head to bed.

Hoping dh's Amex card comes today. His broke in half and I ordered a new one for him about a week and a half ago. It has to go to our P.O. up home and then be forwarded.

Time for breakfast and for me to get moving on that time slot Okay spoke about!
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

Okay, now we know where you get your positive keep-on-keeping-on attitude. I am so glad that you are feeling better.

Yes, OKay, you're right! Great-grandparents was my intention! I was actually trying to remember how you refer to them sometimes as another generation and couldn't. Thank you for letting us know - no that is really not more info than I would like to know. I appreciate it.

I'm off to an impromtu appt after half an apple. So far, the attempt to have a normal day today is failing.

Awhhh! Thanks for the kind words. I do think it is important to pick who we spend time with because they influence our mood and attitude. That's one of the many reasons I like to spend time here. You are a good influence on me. :)

(((Dee))) I'm soo very sorry MedWOE is such a bother. Our BCBS insurance switched from MedWOE to careMark this year for prescriptions. I am reminded how much I need to be Thankfully for when I hear of their poor customer service and WACKY database records keeping.

Breakfast has been prep/served/cleaned up. Lunch and dinner are planned and prep has been started for them. MMMMHHHHHhhh ......chicken fry. I'm looking forward to that meal!!

LO is still congested and coughing but I don't know of anything to do to help him get better faster. He has finished 10 days of antibodies. The steroids seem to have worked on me and provided almost instant relief, however I know they are not an option for LO at his age.

I wish I could siphon off some of OKay's energy and attitude. I wake up every morning feeling like I'm going to get things done, but by the time I beat my head against the wall all day long I don't get anything done at home.

Yesterday I left house at 7:30 for dr appt with dmom - first appt with new doctor who was very, very thorough. I got to work at one p.m. after dropping Mom off at her house...worked until 5:30 and was feeling whipped. I just seem to get more and more behind.

My thoughts are filled with wanting to get into better shape, eat better, get the temple things done that need to be done, the new house underway, take care of issues raised yesterday with dMom, do FAFSA online.....

Anyway, on to my payroll work today.

OKay perfect theme today. I am full of thoughts. I am reformatting my life. I am looking at each thing I do or have and asking myself a series of questions.

We have a pretty day. The temps will be near 60. Those temps are late April for us. The snow is srtill melting.

One more day of tying up threads. DH is loading garbage into the pickup. Then we will go to the transfer station and then the post office.

I've spent part of the morning doing a last check of all the files for the HOA to make sure they are in order. I will spend the afternoon printing off reports.

I have several phone calls to make but must wait until businesses open. That is the main problem of getting up and going early in the morning - the rest of the world is not. :D

Time to gather the house garbage to add to DH's .

BBL.

PS: Just wanted to say how much this village has inspired me over the years and in my day to day life. You have taught me courage when dealing with the curves life sometimes throws you - grace to accept whatever comes - energy when all I want to do is pull the covers over my head and optimism that all will be for the good.
