Maybe TMI but I was laid low yesterday by a UTI. Went to CVS minute clinic, and they sent me on to an "Urgent Care" place. Then waited forever and a day back at the CVS to get the scripts. I went to bed at 7 p.m. with a low grade fever.

DD called in a panic last night because she had given Macs an Acepromazine because of storms, and he was woozy and had fallen and "couldn't get up." She finally called back that they had gotten him up with the assistance of a slice of pizza.

Twins, are you at HH without the kids right now? I hope you feel better soon.

My a.m. routine is done. The bathroom is cleared out for the workers. Workers are here.

mini-rant: I feel a little irritated with the main contractor; they never showed up yesterday, even after the main contractor guy told dh he'd be in in the afternoon. Then, this morning before 9 a.m. the electrical inspector shows up - no warning. It would have been nice if they had given us some warning he was coming this morning and/or been here to shepherd him around. It turned out OK, but what if (1) both dh and I had been out? or (2) I had been in the shower and unable to answer the door? Anyhow, this project has been going on for about 3 months; it was supposed to be a 6 week thing. Having people in my house all the time is starting to wear on me, just in time for summer vacation, when the kids will be around 24-7. The saving grace is that the work looks really good. We use this guy b/c he is very creative and a great problem solver. He is trained as an architect, at least through the undergrad years. I'm not sure if he finished the whole process.

Alright, I'm going to let the sunshine seep into my life for the rest of the day! I'm going to be happy. :)

I have a lot of paperwork type tasks to do today.

1. devo time
2. finish ds' grad announcements. They are awfully late.
3. go buy g. pig food; we're completely out, poor things.

The last full day in our house for the summer.

I didn't get too much done yesterday as my knee didn't cooperate. Guess it doesn't like going down from the house and up into the MH over and over.

So I spent some time in my chair with ice on it. That really helps but doesn't get much done around here.

We have our last PT in 3 hours, we've done our walks, said good-bye to friends and now it is time to play some catch-up on what didn't get done yesterday.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to the HARMONIES.

Quickly waving good morning to ya'll before those gremlins catch me :D

Footprints picked up, had my coffee and now I'm off to S2S. Think I'll attack part of my closet today. Was up all night with terrible cramps in legs, feet and toes. Had plenty of water and taking needed vitamins. The cramps are getting increasingly worse over time. Gonna try to get a gallon of gadaraide down today. Did almost that yesterday.

I'm pretty sure I found the needed pieces to my family tree. Am waiting for confirmation on my find. Love playing detective.

Harriet, my mom used to roll my hair in socks and rags. Boy that was a long time ago. Harmony...did what you did yesterday several times and it is certainly no fun. Hope you can find a better way to celebrate your special day :D Oops, here come those critters around the bend...got jump. Cya'll later :D

Harmony - CONGRAULATIONS!!!!

Today is DSisIL birthday. We are gathering at DMIL home at noon to celebrate it with a family meal.....a last minute thing. >>>>condensing other time slots in order to insert this 2-3 hours into schedule<<<<

I am experimenting with how to store/process the onion harvest. There is just SO MUCH OF IT! The good news is .....I have plenty of product to experiment with. :) I've tried dehydrating (takes too long), chopping & freezing (takes up too much freezer space), drying whole onions on rack (they are sprouting!!). Sooooo now I am chopping and cooking them down then packaging to put them into the freezer.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MR & MRS HARMONY!! Hope today will bring you some calmness and good memories!

I have spaghetti sauce in the slow cooker -only I have a problem. The handle on the lid had fallen off into the pot (before I put sauce in of course). I'm waiting now for dh to come and try to super glue it for me. I LOVE this crockpot -it can't go "south" on me! :o

Gal across from us had a knee replacement yesterday and her dh LOVES spaghetti so thought we'd have him over for dinner.

Found out last night by looking at the obituaries in our home town news online that one of my uncles passed away yesterday. Wasn't sure if it was him so called down to my daunt's (the one who is 22 days my senior!) to see. It was. The township didn't sound right so wasn't sure. That makes 6 of the 10 in my DMom's family. Of the 4 left, I have the one aunt my age, one aunt 2 or 3 years younger and 2 uncles about 5 & 8 years older. My Grandmother spread her family out over a lot of years. Will depend on arrangements if I go down home or not -and a lot depends on when burial will be for my niece. I think that will be early June (depending on when it's "convenient" for her dad. My dsis is very unhappy about that!) Niece's ashes are being buried right next to my dMom and dDad.

Woke around 6 this morning and fell back asleep. A group from here is walking Mon, Wed & Fri mornings at 8. I woke BACK up at 7:48. Called and told them I'd meet them going the other way. Didn't quite catch them but at least I walked. :? Feel better for it too. When I was in FL I was up around 6-6:30 nearly every day. I just can't seem to keep that going here.

Have to go buy ground beef to make meatballs so hope dh comes pretty soon. Have most of my 'routine' jobs done. Do need to get back on my decluttering (Don't Break the Chain). I was doing pretty good until this holiday weekend. Start again. I have been able to keep the chain going of having blood sugars under 120 each day for some time though. That's the most important one right now.

I still have socks drying all around the RV. Think they're almost ready to put away. I was durned if I was going to put another $1.50 in quarters in. I think they turned the heat back so they wouldn't use so much propane. So now the clothes don't dry -in an hour?
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!
