Oh how nice, how nice, Okay!

I'm sure it would have been 'worth it' had it been twice the effort. How neat that was!
safely use step ladder (rather than climbing up his bookcase!)
Oh, yes, I remember it well! DS-A (youngest) was in his room when I heard a tremendous crash from upstairs! He had climbed on the drawers on his tall dresser and over it went. Luckily he was not hurt that time. There were lots of times in his young life that he was injured however.

I'm sure he was a cat in disguise (with more than 9 lives literally).
I have lots of things to accomplish today so have been up for an hour making my l**ts. Have a load of laundry to do so that's up first. Company arrives tomorrow -have a feeling it will be fairly early in the day.
I was going to register dh for the Making Strides Walk this morning, when I realized it's the same date as our dfriends from IN will be here. They're meeting us at church, coming back here and we're going for lunch, then they'll go back to her db's in Cattaraugus County. So dh is 'thinking' on that one. Walk starts at 10 which means he wouldn't be able to go to church and would need a ride. He may just register, get donations and not walk. He'd be sad not to do that in honor of DDIL#1 -plus his own being a survivor.
Have to remind dgd17 today of our family picnic on Sunday. Of course, as warm as it's been for weeks, now it will struggle to make 70. With Dbil/Dsil coming of course it will be cool. Drat!
I've had my coffee and meds. For some reason my BS continues to be up every morning. Can't figure out what the difference is or if the meds I'm taking just aren't working! I need to make an appointment with the Dr. and 1 for my mammogram/bone density tests. Keep procrastinating. Need push to do it I guess.
Off to get dressed and on with my day. I've done my thinking and have grocery and to-do l**ts done. Even have menus planned for Fri-Sun -that's good for me!
