Good title for me today Bernice.
I got out a note book last night and am working on some lists.
Daily things in detail
and pages of other things that I'll play with a dice to chose whats next.
A bit of effort is always a help.
I've tackled some more outside things.
next is a late lunch - need do better with that
and a phone call.

Oh, my... ...eeewwwww.....step, step...aaaand jump! Pirouette. Tiptoe, tiptoe.
Whew.
It is listy in here today!
Et tu, Lynlee? Pages? Do you have a temperature?
I'm started on the Morning Dailies. School run was fine, but there were early morning lectures enough on my part to realize we need more attention to evening readying for the following days. We can get that done.
I need to research local upholsterers for this living room project.

Good Morning!
and Good Night to LynLee
Bernice & LynLee - BWTG on thinking your day so well.
I plan to finish up LO room project today. This morning I solved his hat storage by putting the 1/2 dozen cowboy hats, bicycle helmet and one other helmet on top of his bookcases. The downside to this storage solution is he can't reach them himself, so I'm be teaching him how to safely use step ladder (rather than climbing up his bookcase!)
The baseball style hats are now hanging on a chain with decorative clothes pins and is easily accessible to him. Later today I will tackle the window curtains/rods.
All the effort on LO room was repaid last night when LO walked into it from school. He stopped in the middle of the room and turned around ...and around....and excitedly said "This is BEAUTIFUL!! I love it!"

Hmmm... I think I need to make a li&t (or something like that
) for today or I will be quite directionless. My calendar for today is BLANK!! Except for the dinner crew coming over tonight.
Oh, my. I'm certainly not up for a pirouette at this time in the morning. LOL!
The girls are off. I have checked email. I have put out most of the hotspot on the kitchen island.
Today:
-a.m. routine
-work on (very short) devo. to share with moms group leaders tomorrow
-many DPCs; I keep putting these off
-exercise
-some house tidying -- I'll post specifics as I go along
-work in ds' room: finish the bookshelf
-get moms group binders organized - this year and last year's
-perhaps, transfer info to my NEW calendar.
-make dinner: chicken cacciatore, salad, bread in breadmaker
-host dinner crew here tonight

Thanks for the help on Wee Willie Winkle rhythm. Once I realized it was only 4 verses, it was easily memorized. I downloaded it
set to music which made a good song to sing together while getting bedtime routine done.
DH will be going to town for his weekly allergy shots, so I want to have things ready to send with him. There are 4 large bags ready to be dropped off at GW. Need to finalize the Sam's buying list to send with him.
After finishing LO room, I'm going to empty the big chest freezer (full to the top) and defrost it. As I return the food to it, I will sort and take an inventory.

Oh how nice, how nice, Okay!

I'm sure it would have been 'worth it' had it been twice the effort. How neat that was!
safely use step ladder (rather than climbing up his bookcase!)
Oh, yes, I remember it well! DS-A (youngest) was in his room when I heard a tremendous crash from upstairs! He had climbed on the drawers on his tall dresser and over it went. Luckily he was not hurt that time. There were lots of times in his young life that he was injured however.

I'm sure he was a cat in disguise (with more than 9 lives literally).
I have lots of things to accomplish today so have been up for an hour making my l**ts. Have a load of laundry to do so that's up first. Company arrives tomorrow -have a feeling it will be fairly early in the day.
I was going to register dh for the Making Strides Walk this morning, when I realized it's the same date as our dfriends from IN will be here. They're meeting us at church, coming back here and we're going for lunch, then they'll go back to her db's in Cattaraugus County. So dh is 'thinking' on that one. Walk starts at 10 which means he wouldn't be able to go to church and would need a ride. He may just register, get donations and not walk. He'd be sad not to do that in honor of DDIL#1 -plus his own being a survivor.
Have to remind dgd17 today of our family picnic on Sunday. Of course, as warm as it's been for weeks, now it will struggle to make 70. With Dbil/Dsil coming of course it will be cool. Drat!
I've had my coffee and meds. For some reason my BS continues to be up every morning. Can't figure out what the difference is or if the meds I'm taking just aren't working! I need to make an appointment with the Dr. and 1 for my mammogram/bone density tests. Keep procrastinating. Need push to do it I guess.
Off to get dressed and on with my day. I've done my thinking and have grocery and to-do l**ts done. Even have menus planned for Fri-Sun -that's good for me!

Good morning everyone -- no time to post the LIST of all I'm thinking it out about today -- but I do HAVE it written down on a sticky memo-pad note, on the cover of my gradebook.
I am trying sooo hard to just take it one thing at a time & not get overwhelmed... to focus on PROGRESS not perfection... but oh my goodness... I wish I could get caught up!!!
I am just in AWE of bernice & Okay's efforts & accomplishments w/children's rooms. WOW.
Here I am, can't even manage to find time to drag the vacuum cleaner around the house, and y'all are doing Martha Stewart-style decorating... and you have children 7 days a week, not just occasionally, like me.
I AM overwhelmed to look @ calendar and see that EVERY SINGLE SATURDAY until Thanksgiving is taken up. * sigh *
Good morning to Dee, Harriet, helia, and Lynlee... and all to come later! Have a great day!

Good Morning All,
DeeClutter - This is your resident Nurse speaking... SET-UP the appointment!!!
I have worked late 2 nights in a row now... Have to go in again this morning, but I have to leave NLT 4:30 so that I can meet the DS's at DS13's optometrist office by 5:00. I set this appointment up a couple of weeks ago and it seems to have come at a fortuitous date. Yesterday his glasses fell off and he stepped on them (not sure exactly what he was doing), his spare pair was already in pieces. His eye's last year were 20/100 & 20/75 and of course have only gotten worse so this was a huge deal because he can't see without them. DS19 picked him and the 2 pair of destroyed glasses to the office, unfortunately they were beyond repair. Thankfully, they were able to find a set of frames that the lenses would fit in, so now they will just have to replaces the lenses when the new ones come in ten days from now.
To Do List
d2s
work
DS13 eye appointment
schoolwork
Ugh time to get out of here... catch ya'll later
