I'm sipping my last cup of coffee for a week. Have my mammogram scheduled for Friday and can't have the caffeine (as I'm sure you all know) for 5 days before. I usually can take it or leave it, but KNOWING I can't have it, I'll probably want it.
I found the discussion of sleep apnea interesting. As many of you know I'm a great proponent of getting it checked out and treated (for newbies this is what our dShelley died from 3 years ago). Never realized before that how serious it can be. With her, it had been going on for years and she no longer used her cpap. We can only surmise that she felt she didn't need it after losing so much weight. It was discovered later that her brain had suffered some very adverse affects. That at least explained some of her behavior changes over her last couple of years.
I'll tell my one 'rooster story'. I still remember today -I was only about 3 when we visited my great grandmother and great grandfather. Their rooster chased and pecked at me and I can only remember dgg immediately giving that ol' rooster its last rites. Had nightmares for a long time so never went near those fowl if I could help it!
Slept fairly well last night until 2a.m. Was awake till 3 and then woke back up at 5:15. That's all she wrote. I'm up, s2s and meds done. Have a bunch of things I want to do today. Considerably cooler today. Have a pig roast here tonight. Just about the last big day here except next Saturday is "Halloween" here. That used to be a big production, but is no longer. Just trick or treat, wagon rides, cider & donuts, pumpkin carving. Tonight there's the pig roast, then a band (which I rarely go down for -too loud!), and fireworks at dark. Actually the fireworks are left over from the 4th of July -the weather turned and he didn't get them all in. Guess the manufacturer is sending in a crew to do it all. DH likes that!
