SUNNY SUNDAY

Post by DeeClutter »

May it be sunny wherever you are, at least in your heart, if not outside!

Watched two movies last night on Net f lix and went to bed about 11:30. Late for me. This morning I was up at 5:58 -what's UP with that?! Now I'm sure I'll need a nap this afternoon.

Feels chilly in here (thermostat says it's 67) and I have the fireplace (electric) going. Looking like a nice day out there so far. Rained about 2/10" yesterday and of course rained last night when everyone was in line for the haunted house. Sure dcampowner was not real happy that dh was away yesterday. They were quite short handed. The 'food' stand was supposed to be open with hot cider & donuts. Understand the guy called late and said he couldn't make it, so people here were scrambling to get cider & donuts from stores & served them inside the rec hall. At least that was in out of the elements. Had a dj last night and think because it was chilly the doors/windows were all closed and I didn't hear it for the first time all year.

Have to run to the $ store to pick up candy for dh this morning and think I'll stop to get the mail. Church isn't until 10:55 this morning so I'll have time beforehand. Have no idea what time I'll be picking dh up tonight (or where).

Next Sunday our very dfriends from Indiana will be here. Funny how much I'm looking forward to their being here and not the least bit anxious about the RV (unlike when expecting dbil/dsil).

Got some pictures yesterday of the latest little guy in our family. Immediately put one on our fridge. Just love it! (and him).

I'm sipping a cup of coffee while I really wake up and then will get in the shower. Has to warm up a little bit for that to happen however. I do have a 'tower' heater sitting on our deck that I may bring in and set just inside our 'washer' closet so I can 'super' heat the bathroom when we need it. I hate being cold.

My day is full of surprises and smiles.

If you had ever told me my son would run in a half marathon, I'd have thought you were crazy. But he's on his way and we are too, to cheer him on.

Leaving insanely early to get a hug and a moment with my dnephew before he heads to work at 9, right next to the starting line. We had to change our meet up point since it was across the race course from his work - meaning he'd have to go far out of his way to get there. Now we'll have to walk farther. Ds will meet us at breakfast if possible.

I see I'm not alone -the 'world' (as I see it) is up and about. Hoping Mr. Sun starts warming things up in here a bit more. I may have to relent and turn up the furnace. Know it was 43* out when I first got up.

Coffee is getting my corpuscles moving. Our dneighbors across the street are moving out next Sunday and someone else has bought their RV. They've been our neighbors since we moved into this site 9 seasons ago (2004).

Need to get the water heating so it's ready for my shower in 1/2 hour.

Oh, oh someone hit their 'panic' alarm on their keys. Have a feeling it's across the street. Just seeing the sun over the top of a MH kitty-corner from us. Not taking very long for it to rise above it though. Amazing how fast it does move! Seconds to full sun.

Time to start moving and get my clothes out for church. Want to be out of here by 9:30 or so. That will give me time to run errands before church.

Good Morning!

I just stopped working on prep for tomorrow. I got up at 4am and worked on it till 7:30. I can only do 3-4 hours at a time because it is so emotionally taxing. I have been doing 2-3 session a day the last couple of days. The rest of the time I try to spend outside doing something physical to burn up the extra energy.

Today is church, lunch with friends then more of the prep while LO naps.

I am looking forward to whatever the future normal will be for us.....bring it on! I want to think it will be better than being in this limbo.

Next up -
** Breakfast (protein/fruit smoothie)
** AM routine
** out the door to church in 71 minutes

It HAS to be, Okay! You're never very far from my thoughts & prayers.

I've done lots of puttering (as dIndiana used to say so often). Now it's time for the nitty gritty of getting ready to leave for errands and church.

Have a bunch of things piled to take to DS-A's house -a movie, a model of a big red tool box with tape measure for DGS13, an article on a Civil War battle for DGS13, coupons for DDIL#2 and pictures of the newest DGbaby.

Better go get my phone and make sure no one has texted me this morning. I almost wonder if the 'ringer' got accidentally turned off. Know it only vibrated when I put it in to charge last night.

Good morning, villagers ~

I guess summer is officially over:
1) I found the ice cube trays on the counter instead of having been immediately refilled and put back in the freezer.
2) DH turned on the furnace in the middle of the night.
3) We will take the window a/c unit out of the bedroom this afternoon.

I woke up early and too warm, so came downstairs to turn the furnace off and drink some water. I have read Emails and cuop. Still need to check FB and have breakfast before I get back to the financial reports.

Thanks for opening the thread, Dee. I would have avoided the trick/treat candyfest, too.
Today is church, lunch with friends
Very good, Okay! Even if nobody mentions a word about tomorrow's proceedings, you will be able to feel the loving support of your whole local community and all of LO's special friends going in with you.

Good Morning All.

I got up and turned the heater on at 5:30 this morning as my nose was too cold to sleep. Slept in till almost 9. :D

Today is moving day. We will only be going 144 miles to a lake in Kansas. It must be moving day for others too, as I can hear the rigs going past. Hope no one else hits a pole.

I have to get my blog typed up and pictures posted, then pack up the MH for travel. We will probably leave around 12.

Big hugs for the OKays. Will be thinking about you and sending peace thoughts for tomorrow.

Up and about here....we've had breakfast and are watching a movie. I need to get the ddogs out to walk. We are leaving a little past noon to drive up toward K-town to meet dd. We have her new phone and some other things that she forgot last weekend.

Other than that a quiet day here.

55*-78* I'm sipping cocoa - coffee this morning while I type this up.
I'm up it is a 'bit' less smokey today here but not all that much.

B.S. is up today had a late dinner don't know if that has any thing to do with it or not.

Today we are going to hang the gate we got finished and put wire on, will work on the other two and putting wire on the run.

We enjoyed the movie "the avengers" last night. It was full, a great activity out of the smoke! Did not go to the fair too spendy and smokey!
