Turn around Tuesday

Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life.
Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny,
inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement.

LynLee - Thanks for the quotes, sleep tight.

Yesterday was a rough day, I hate Medicaid! Have to see a
bunch of patients today and then have a function for work this evening.

Have a great Day Villagers.

Went to bed early last night but slept poorly; woke up at 4:30 and lay in bed awake for a good hour+. So much for going to bed early.

I have a full day today. Here's my schedule of appts. Between these I need to work in a trip to the bank, a trip to the groc. store (I didn't do that yesterday), and hopefully a trip to the optometrist to pick up dd14's lenses.
- 10 a.m. haircut
- 12 pm - lunch w/ dfriend
- 1:20 - pick up dd17 from school for. . .
- 1:45 Dr. appt.
- take dd17 back to school (hopefully, the appt. won't take too long)
- 4:45 dd14 oboe lesson
- dinner date night: w/ dd14

Off to work on the a.m. routine.

I will try to post at least a small one. My computer is really giving me grief and have no idea when my new one will arrive. I think it's supposed to be shipped today. There was a little blurb at the end of the confirmation email that delivery might be delayed by Customs. Oh right -it's coming from abroad I finally realized (an HP).

Last few days have been a whirlwind. Had the 50th anniversary party for DBIL/DSIL and getting gd ready for camp this week and hopefully to go to the ranch next week. Still hasn't had her final interview (mostly for paper signing, etc.) nor do we have an actual date.

GD is at a church camp this week (spring break) -she goes every day for $5 a day -can't beat that. They were supposed to go to Anna Maria Island today on the Gulf -they called last night about 10 to cancel their 'beach day'. Going to be way too cold for that. Dh, dd and I are going to EPCOT shortly for the day. Have reservations for dinner at 12:55 in Germany. Know dh will enjoy that. We bought a 3-day pass for dh in January, but this will only be the 2nd day :| -he goes home tomorrow.

Went with dd to get a new birth certificate for gd yesterday -both that and her social security card have disappeared. She'll go tomorrow to try for a new card. Friday they have an appointment in Plant City to get a Florida ID for gd -needed the SS card in order to get that. Then she should have everything she needs for the Ranch. Yay!

Guess we have to cover plants again tonight. Rare this time of year for FL! Going to be pretty cool for Disney so we'll try to do lots of indoor things. Have to pick gd up at 5pm so we'll be leaving there by 3 or so -probably after dinner so we don't have to rush.

Have dishes to do -hopefully tonight -been 3 days now. At least there aren't many.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

I had a low last night so b.s. was up today but heading back to the right direction. I have done the trash thing had some stuff outside waiting for today to go in from doing yard clean up so it looks better now yea! This was great exercise for 20 min.

Made a call and got through to the home imp. store yesterday at noonish no luck. They had one of the things I wanted not the other one but found it else where. Wanted a peek at some of it and a ball park price so looked on line for some fiberglass fake stone for the bbq stand and looks like that might be what we are doing. H. had lots of q.'s about it but he will just have to go and see and ask them I knew I would never be able to ask what he wanted to know and remember that info. so I didn't ask for details. Besides he likes an excuse to go to their store anyway!

Good morning all. Elizabeth, why not join Ravelry yourself? It is free and a great source of all kinds, including patterns. Of course we will welcome pictures of your crocheting projects here.

Dee, I have been totally amazed at the weather in Florida this month! Definitely not the norm. On a Weather Channel report I saw this morning the same high for the day was predicted for Tampa and Provo, UT. 58! Incredible! 58 is a very decent temperature for this date in Provo.

Have been trying to get my email caught up and think I have nearly finished for the moment though I do have some newsletters to scan.I just skipped those and focused on the personal mail.

Time to go practice.

Greeting Villagers!!! I am still out of work with my shoulder issue. So I figure I may as well use this time as best I can to get things done around here. I have limited use of my left arm, but I am not totally out of the game yet, lol. But like my nephew pointed out, looks like my pitching carrer is over, lol.

I am in a 'flux' I guess right now. I cant decide where to start, lol. Upstairs? Downstairs? Laundry? Paperwork? Wedding plans? I have numerous things to do under each heading. I think as I am typing this, I have decided on starting upstairs. Master bedroom and office need my attention. The office more so. So I guess that decided.

The weather here is bright and sunny, but still on the cold side. Ishould use the sunshine as my motivator. It certainly helps. This winter seems to be hangin on and on and on this year. There is a possible upswing to some very nice spring temps coming in two weeks, I would truly like to have the inside done to my liking by then, so I can go outside and work with no nagging left over 'things' on my mind about the inside. Its a goal I am setting. Also, with DD getting married on June 7th, wedding activities and preperations are gliding into full swing here very soon. Would like to have my baseline good by the time I dont have the time anymore time, lol. Also, scattered MAY be coming up for the wedding shower (last Sunday in April) and I MUST get her room ready. It is totally not ready at this point, lol. At least if I have it ready for the shower and she cant make it, it will be ready for when she gets here for the wedding.

I guess I have figured out where to start now, lol.

ToDo's for today
strip bed and remake
all clothes either pout away or into laundry
all clutter rehomes
wash windows
dust
vac
baseboards
spot clean door jambs
clean mirrors
all laundry out in to hallway awaiting a two armed person to transport it down to the laundry room

Office list will have to wait until I evaluate the room. BB when Im done with this first round.
