TY for the thought provoking quotes yesterday.
I think its about doing what we can today.
This week I've been trialing
https://kanbanflow.com
which is an online goal / task site with timer built in. If you don't have cards or a journal you may be interested.
I joined on the weekend and have been tweeking my routines and what I'd like to do each day. ATM I open a checklist for each day, with a master list to take it from.
Washing happened today. Also tai chi and support group. Dishes are washed.
Time for screens off and bbr.
Ggoodnight all. Have a great Wednesday

Re: Wednesday Choices
Dd and dsil have just left. They'll be back in 5 days.
We are skyping with ds now. He's still in Cairns. Says the caravan is tight for the 5 of them (no kidding!) but so far so good. He's even been driving. Has the same issue his father has with driving on the opposite side of the road - he turns the windshield wipers on each time he goes to signal a turn!
I'll post pictures of Fluffy later today. She is the length of the bathtub so that makes her 5' long.
Edited to add:
I've now s2s, tidied the bedroom, eaten, read ds's three blog updates (he has internet issues right now so no pics yet), and started a load of laundry.
Here's the link to the MO post with the snake pictures. It is at the bottom of my existing pictures thread.

Good Morning!
Lynlee - that looks like a good website to use. Glad you are having good results with it.
I've been on schedule this morning and making good progress.
Next up = focus area for this week. For me it is outside buildings & cellar. Yesterday I started applying water proof to the cellar. It is slow going but that's okay as long as the progress continues in a forward direction.

Re: Wednesday Choices
So funny!! I did THE exact same thing in Australia! Dd15 (9? at the time) finally made a sign and taped it in the back window of our car: "If you see the windshields wipers going, I'm turning." We took a photo of it. Another funny thing dh and I did is that we got our left and right mixed up, even in everyday conversation - yet we still understood each other perfectly. He would say the salt was on the left of the stove. I knew it was on the right. . .Very funny phenomenon. In parking lots w/out traffic or clear markings, we will still occasionally have a brief moment of: which side should I be on?he turns the windshield wipers on each time he goes to signal a turn!
LOVED seeing fluffy! She is a beauty! Also very much enjoyed seeing the family who will be moving in, Kathryn. They are beautiful too! Do they go to your church as well?
I like the looks of that website, Lynlee. I will check it out more later.
No, my a.m. routine is not done. But I have:
- fed ddogs since dd18 did not do it. Grrr....
- fed g. pigs
- taken Maia out to potty; she tried to trick me once and go in the bushes near our house. . .
- quiet study time
- s2s
- WW - down 2.4. I haven't been particularly following the program or exercising.
- Tar-jay
- Korean store; they don't have the rice I buy!! I did buy my beloved snacks of roasted seaweed. I really like it; it is extremely low cal too - and salty. Takes care of cravings for salty snacks at 15 calories/package.
- vet - buy flea meds (preventive) for Lily
- pet store - bedding for g. pigs
I need to finish unloading the car. Then, I'll make some phone calls, update laundry and probably have some lunch.

Re: Wednesday Choices
Did not make phone calls. Did - unload the car, feed the hens, give the hens clean water - their waterer is green. Must be growing algae. Did pull some tall weeds in a corner near the house - and Maia proceeded to pull with me and/or grab them from me as they came out and triumphantly strew them across the yard.
Wasn't sure if I should be laughing or getting angry at her. . .Got a load of towels going. Load in dryer is tumbling to get out the wrinkles. This means it is. . . lunchtime!!
Oh - I did want to say that I am very happy for you and impressed Ivy that you are pursuing your lifelong goal now, especially after some obstacles earlier in your life.
Enjoy granny duty, lucylee!! They grow up so fast.
Hen question: Is it OK to have algae in their waterer? We can clean it out really easily - but if it keeps returning, I'm wondering if we should be concerned and do something more drastic? Or, maybe with the cooler temps approaching, that won't be a problem, though the waterer will have a heater to keep the water from freezing.

Re: Wednesday Choices
Progress made on cellar water proofing. I'm working on the step area first because it will be colder in the coming months. I am trying to get as far as I can below ground level before it gets cold.
Worked in bathrooms catching up on daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal cards. It is a bit discouraging to try to clean a bathroom that needs major work done on it. It does look and feel better so it was time well spent.
Next up is lunch prep

Re: Wednesday Choices
Hello! Sorry, Lucylee. Hate when that happens.
Worked on a project for our committee, 3 phone calls and email later...
Going to try to visit my Lady in Nursing Home today. Later this afternoon, she has bingo earlier... Need to S2S now. And get busy on some actual work on the house. I did get dailies done.

Re: Wednesday Choices
:D HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TIMID!!!
Wednesday Choices is a good two words to ponder on, think about and do until it's done.
Kathryn, I loved Fluffy!
Our dgrson-17 has a snake, but I forget what kind. It's white. Which person are you in the photos? Are you in the photos? I think I picked out the right "you".
Good photos. Thanks for sharing.
It's VERY dense fog here again.
My Dsis emailed from the St. George area, UT and they love the climate, seeing the stars every night and will join a group, which bikes, hikes, rock climbs, etc.. when they get settled, too.
They're so happy! I miss her, but I'm happy for her, too.
Wednesday's desk day for me and the day we take care of trash and garbage because pick-up day's tomorrow.
Will also try to crochet on dgrson-4.5's afghan and work on a story by hand.
These are some of my choices to do.
Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!
